Alright, for those of you who remember my post yesterday about my local Verizon telling me some info this morning, I am about to give them a call in about 10 minutes. For those who weren't here or don't remember, here:

Just got off the phone with my local store, and while I have yet to hear this from anyone on here, he told me first off he is a huge Nexus fan as well (a nice way to start the convo) and that he has been waiting just as long as us. After I asked if he had any info on release date, he proceeded to tell me that they are having a meeting for all employees at 7AM tomorrow morning and he was 95% sure it was about the Nexus and that its possible they will have them ready to sell tomorrow or Saturday. He told me to definitely stop by at 9 tomorrow and see if they at least have a display model, with the possibility of pre-ordering or even buying. I can't get my hopes up TOO high, but I am pretty damn excited.

I will report back first thing after I talk to somebody...I am not going to the store right away, I am first going to call. Then if I get something out of them, I will go to the store and see whats up.
 
Any rumors on what full retail for this phone is going to be? I have 2 lines... My unlimited lines is not due or upgrade until march. I have a dumb phone line that is due for upgrade. No longer need two lines and so was considering buying full retail and dropping the other.

Figure that would be cheaper than signing up for a new 2 year contract that I don't need...

Thoughts or creative ideas?

Willing to answer any questions, although with the millions of reviews now out there I doubt there are many questions left. Bear in mind I'm a newbie to Android.

This is exactly what I am hoping for! Pre-orders does nothing for me really. I refuse to pay $299 when I can wait another day or two and have it for $185 with no tax.

There is hope too. The droid Razr AND the Rezound both were availible on day one from 3rd party online retailers, as low as $219.99 plus whatever coupons you could find!

Yes - Can you zoom in on email or text messages? Or is the default font size adjustable in those apps?

I think, for the Return Policy, you get 14 days do deactivate service with Verizon (without ETF)

I talked to a CSR online and she said you have until January 9 to exchange devices, just cannot cancel service.

yeah I was getting different answers from Verizon about return on the REZOUND and I said screw I wasn`t happy with it anyways for only having it a day, its being dropped off at FedEx today after work

Here's the question though . . . are we able to use our last NE2 and other discounts through 3rd party retailers? I have $100 floating around in Verizon's system.
