I'm going to call my two local stores here and explain that I'm hearing a monday release date and that if it's true I need to ask my boss if I can come in late to get the phone at launch. I'll see if they'll give me any hints. 10 minutes till they open so don't hold your breath that long, lol

Should be today. Could be even Saturday.

But also, despite what the VP told me, it could even be online-ordering on the 21st with in-store either on Black Friday or on the 28th.

Who knows.

Just got back from the store that told me to stop by after the meeting they had at 7AM...

Well I walked in to be greeted by a little old lady...Ut oh...She asked what I needed and I told her how I was looking into a phone that is supposed to be releasing next week called the SGN, and she kind of looked surprised/puzzled that I said it, so I didn't know how to take it...I then told her that I received word from the same store to stop by today after the 7AM meeting because the meeting was most likely going to be about the SGN, and she just looked at me stone faced and said "The meeting was not about that". I said oh ok, then small talked her about how I think it is weird that they have RAZR's in store some 2 weeks before release, and Verizon hasn't said a word about this phone and it could release next week blah blah blah...

Well, I plan on calling a few times today, hopefully getting someone (maybe the same guy as yesterday) to shed some info for me. Its a little discouraging because the guy I talked to yesterday was just as excited for it as we all are and seemed to know what he was talking about.
 
Trying to do my part... just called my local Verizon store (Rocky Mount, NC), and spoke with a very nice lady who said yes, the Galaxy Nexus is supposed to launch on Monday (she checked with her manager), but of course she couldn't guarantee that. I said I understood, didn't want to get her in hot water or anything... was just fishing for more information. I asked if it was in-store only or also online and she said she didn't know. Politely thanked her and hung up.

Don't know if that helps, but though I'd share!
 
It seems that the Reddit rumors about getting the phone today are officially checked off.

I'm getting out the pen for monday too. Give me a release date verizon, Puh-lease.
