***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

Just called two of my local Verizon stores and one told me that they have no confirmation of the release date (didn't think he would) nor do they have Any accessories. The other stoor sales guy was a little more helpful. He did say that they don't have the release date yet, but they have already received the accessories for the phone.
 
If you actually put in your full address you get a map showing the level of coverage in your specific area. 4G is all over the Tampa Bay area :)
 
I'm not a big fan of the box either, however I'm only going to look at the box for .3 seconds before tearing it open to get to my Galaxy Nexus. Monday can't come soon enough!!
 
I'm a definite lurker in here. This is the first place I check in the morning and last one I check at night. Right now I'm at work and have to watch for any attorneys coming near my desk or I'm in trouble...but I'll keep lurking to hear any news hopefully from Verizon today. I've learned SO MUCH about this phone from you guys! Thanks!

I know how he feels. I have learned. He's getting those "Roll Eyes" moments and posting them before consulting himself.

Now I just roll eye in angst or even error and move on. Easy with that "Submit" button Fella!

What's a mobile transfer kit? How does it "include the GNex?" How long after you see something like that do you get a release??

I told her how I was looking into a phone that is supposed to be releasing next week called the SGN. . . . . .

Noooooo I don't want to be spanked! I called last night right before closing, so I plan on doing the same tonight, hopefully get the same guy and see if he can help me out some more.

Okay, so I've been lurking...and I just signed up to help you guys take this thread to EPIC. I don't have much to add, very excited about the GN though. My three things:

1. Got an email at 11:04 pm (central time) last night trying to convince me to upgrade to 4G LTE and the Droid Razr - Seems like last ditch effort to move phone.

2. At midnight I noticed, as you guys did, the VZ Wireless site change pushing the 4 day websale(ending 11/21) trying to empty stock of Droid Charge(Samsung make) and Droid Pro.

3. Called my local CORP VZ store, last night about 7 p.m.. Talked to a girl. Convo went as follows:

Me - "I'm calling about information on a new phone. The Galaxy Nexus."

Her - "The galaxy nexus? I haven't heard of that. Have you thought about getting the Droid Razr?"

Me - "No. I'm really interested in the new software."

Her - "What software are you looking for? Gingerbread??"

:At this point I can't tell if she is playing dumb, or if she is really just dumb:

Anyways she puts me on the list to call as soon as she knows something. Most likely her personal list so she can call me and get commission on the sale.

And thus completes my pointless, but nonetheless, first post here!
