I'm sitting here smirking, trying not to break into hysterical laughter because this thread has me at the edge of the seat.
I'm afraid to leave my desk for ANYTHING because I'll miss something but the coffee is gonna make me leave soon. ;)

Seriously, I need to study for my MCATs on my lunch breaks at work, and I can't freaking concentrate because I'm too busy refreshing my "Galaxy Nexus" Google News search. This needs to come out now, while I still have a career left!
 
this is absolutely insane what the hell is verizon waiting for lol.....they would rather have us outside a verizon wireless stalking fedex and ups deliveries then just tell us when we can buy this thing lol

I think DCSR should quietly sing it through clenched teeth with crazy eyes, and a little bit of rocking back and forth while he's stalking...maybe he'd scare everyone off so he could see what is in side THOSE BOXES!!
 
Ok let's think about this for a second. If Google and Verizon and were indeed going to release the phone Monday, November 21st, wouldn't they have said something by now? An official announcement? If they are really going to release the phone Monday morning, that means we would be roughly 72 hours from release. Why keep it all hush hush with less than 72 hours to go? It makes no sense as it makes more sense for an official announcement to have been made long before now that the phone will in fact be out Monday morning.

Take a look at Apple and how quiet they are with their releases. Even they made the announcement a week to 10 days before you could pre-order online. I just find it hard to believe Verizon would still be keeping the lid on this if they are in fact going to release it Monday. I would want to be getting this information out to the consumers so they are aware a hot new phone is being released.

Now don't get me wrong. All signs look good and point to a Monday release, and I hope it does get released Monday. From a business stand point, it makes no sense to keep the lid sealed shut with less than 72 hours to go.
 
This forum is AWESOME! We have almost every angle covered now and are starting to "stalk" the Verizon stores, when will Verizon get the picture that we will not be contained!?

No they would rather have you get frustrated and buy a Razr.

Unfortunately for them they've underestimated the dedication and resilience of most Galaxy Nexus fans...

I can't keep up with this thread but I don't dare take a break. I can't imagine how much I would miss.

Why aren't more people concerned about the lack of Flash? This has me a bit bummed.

If they're going for a quiet release, then no. They're marketing the Razr and ReZound heavily right now and might want to release the Galaxy Nexus for us to keep us happy and at the same time still try to get normal peeps to buy one of the other phones. I'm still believing we'll be able to "quietly" get a Galaxy Nexus next week!
