ok, I'm ready to give in....

and completely jump on board the SGN wagon. I've been saying all along that I need to hold all 3 phones in my hand before I make my well informed decision to get my Nexus, now I'm ready to buy sight unseen. Razr and Rezzzzound don't even exist to me anymore.

Had an important meeting with a client today but just could not stop refreshing the forum. My boss was looking funny at me. This is really becoming an illness. Very soon I may ask my wife to prescribe me something if she does not suggest it first 😄

Okay, guys, I'm starting to get into my depressed annoying vs. happy manic state. My DINC2 isn't here yet. My boss is gone, and we're basically just manning the fort until closing time.

My other coworkers are playing COD on their computers and another guy is watching a movie. Yes, your hard earned tax dollars at work.

I want something new. My DINC2 will do.

fellow lurker joining in on the crazyness that is this thread! just sent a text message to my cousin who is a GM at at Best Buy Mobile.. hoping for good news!

Question for anyone/everyone...

What is the transfer rate for the Android Beam feature? A friend of mine asked me if it was possible to send a 2gb file through it and I figured id check here.

I believe it transfers via bluetooth. So whatever the bluetooth specification is. The nfc bump simply notifies bluetooth to activate and is a "handshake" to set up the transfer.

Yes I'm curious as well. I guess it's up to the NFC specs/chip inside.

*bumping you maybe someone else can chime in?

Received a phone call from the mid-west regional consumer office. I e-mailed them yesterday explaining that when I bought, and returned a bionic due to hardware failure(the store I returned it to refused to put hardware failure on my account because all the bionics they owned worked perfectly), I lost my early upgrade option. I had called a csr before and they stated I could only order online, and then pay the $30 for the early upgrade. I have no problem paying the $30, but I wanted the option to purchase at a store. Not only did the gentleman on the phone ensure I could now purchase the phone at a store if I wished, he bumped my upgrade up from March, 2012 to today! :)

That was above and beyond what I expected and told him as much. All I really was looking for was the ability to purchase at the store and pay the $30 early upgrade fee. So... because of him, I saved myself the $30 upgrade fee, and now will get the discount fee. :)

Yes, we may pay more for verizon, but it's instances like this which make me glad I'm with verizon! :)

Now, give us the release date verizon! lol

You could have totally broken that up and increased our post count ;)

I think you will like the DInc 2... should be a good pacifier until the Nexus hits. Let us know if you love or hate Sense lol...

Picture the courthouse steps in Trading Places. Verizon is Dan Aykroyd (name seem oddly familiar to Android) and we are all Jamie Lee Curtis saying to Verizon "Come on baby just a little G-Nex. I'll do all the little things that you like" (Pay for a phone and service at whatever the cost)

Now Verizon (as did Dan Ackroid) in response says "I don't know what you are talking about and who you are."

We are all addicts and the sad part for me is I was just the same way for the DINC and will be in about 20 months for the next drug that Verizon dangles in front of me without letting me touch.

Color me a Nexaholic.
