Never heard of Titanium backup or V6 supercharger...LOL

Not all apps can be moved to the sdcard correct?

Try moving them, if they can't be moved it will tell you, you also have a tab that tells which apps can be moved to the SD card

Here's a new one... where do I find the "use usb as a hard drive"?? Right now I have the options of charge only, USB tethering amd internet pass through...????
 
Once you have it plugged into a USB port you should be able to slide down the notification and have the options there

Ever since installing HTC Sense 3.0 my phone keeps
sending me "matched contacts suggestions".

How do I turn that off!!

What in the hell is this V6 supercharger script doing?

It keeps asking me to choose an option 1-30... what do I choose and why??

I was actually curious about the V6 SuperCharger too because I had not messed with it. It came out a bit before I switched to my Sprint HTC EVO 3D, so that is probably why I did not notice it, though it could technically benefit any Android device.

Anyway, from my understanding of it after reading up on it, it basically adjusts the threshold for killing apps based on the minimum free amount of RAM for six different states of said apps or processes. So basically, it controls how Android manages RAM when it starts to get low. So, the lower you set the threshold for a certain type of app or process, the more likely it is to stay in memory thus not needing to be loaded again and slowing things down. By the same token, higher thresholds will force certain types of apps or processes to be killed and removed from memory sooner, thus leaving you with more RAM to play with. Now, you have to understand in Android, the more RAM used, the better because unused RAM is a waste. Additionally, in Android, even what looks like unused RAM is actually being used to cache system processes to speed things up behind the scenes. You might say, but is this not like a task killer or manager? Technically, no, because it is a modification of parameters used by the task management built into Android, which is still letting Android be more efficient at killing apps and processes than an external task killer ever would be able to.
 
Well it's been about 14 hours since I installed HTC Sense 3.5.

The Hero is finally working MUCH better than yesterday.

BUT...

Now I'm getting "an error occurred while loading this page"
with my facebook app.

Any suggestions?

Try clearing the cache for the Facebook app and see if that helps. Just go into Settings, and then the Applications Manager and you can clear it there.

If that does not work, try booting into recovery and wiping cache and then going into Advanced and wiping Dalvik cache. I hope this helps.

on the Hero.

I like CM 7.1. but where do I get my "Telenav app" again??

Was it a paid version ?? if yes then you can let the Dev know and make it available for you again, or if you have it on a backed up Rom, you can restore that Rom and back that app with Titanium backup, then create a zip for it and flash it to your current Rom. You don't like Google Maps ??

I believe you can get the telenav application from the market, just do a search in the market

hey guys just throwing in a little bit of what i experienced. The V6 SuperCharger has dramatically changed they way my hero runs. As for the option of 1-30, if you scroll up a little ways it will show you all options 1-30. Though it will only let you select certain ones. Our phones are a lower end devices so you will only be able to choose options under for the low end devices. Correct me if i am wrong because i would hate to be giving wrong advice. Hope this helped even a little...
 
Don't know why you would want the Telenav app, although you can get it fro the market for free for Sprint devices, I still think Google Navigation is much better IMO

Yep, the script should tell you what's recommended for your phone. It's probably in the first 3-5 options;)
