Just got my Droid 3 to hold me over till our baby comes out...anyone think i should root/install roms/etc...and if so what and from where?!

I SERIOUSLY hope this is a typo on the official page... :(

EDIT: If this is NOT a typo and all we get is the 16gig version then I truly feel like I have been slapped in the face. Why? Because 16gig is not the phone I was promised or waiting for. 32gig I was :(

Geez Louise, my head is spinning trying to catch up on what I missed by having an acupuncture treatment and going out to dinner. Confidence in the week of 11/21 went from 99% to 75% to 1% back to about 40% all in the span of a few hours. I'm exhausted just from reading, so I'm going to bed now.

I would like to thank, once again, Steven and Han for the info you've been able to gather so far. I know none of it is in concrete, but I appreciate the efforts you both go through to help set our minds at ease just the same. If you weren't both in NJ, I'd say I'd buy you both a nice dinner and many well deserved drinks when this is all over.

reading the verizon wireless facebook wall is hilarious, I see you all have been hard at work :D

It would almost be like a downgrade from my Dinc if this is true. I have 40 GB of space on it. 8 GB on board and a 32 GB sd card. Ok, ok, I know other specs kill my Dinc, but still that would suck.

Yeah not so much. I've been struggling to keep space free for about a year now.

Who knows what we'll be doing on phones 2 years from now.

I would suggest using titanium backup to roll updates of system apps into the ROM space to free up internal memory - helped me out a lot.

I'm going to keep posting on their wall, daily, until the phone is released. Why would an informed user buy a Razor or Rezound when the GNex release is imminent?
(apologies to those who couldn't wait, or are 'renting' one of those devices).
