Have any of you ever returned a device to big red? Do they give you hassle if it has any ware and tear? Does it have to be flawless? I usually baby my devices but anything can happen..

Well guys, I was one of the guys that was going to jump ship from Tmobile to Verizon for this phone. Tonight I became very impatient, especially after hearing the dealy to Dec. I went ahead and spend an arm and a leg and will be importing from the UK. Its supposed to ship on Monday.

Wish me luck that this whole deal goes thru well, I have never imported before. The site I used was handtec .

Good luck. I'm sure everything will be fine. U will be enjoying a Nexus b4 any of us!!

So now we have a December 12th mark? Seriously?

I'm going to do one of two things here:

A) If the return policy is truly extended for activated phones to January 9th or 15th, I'm going to Verizon tomorrow and picking up the Vigor.

or

B) If the above isn't true, I'm not following this thread anymore until the phone is out. This is getting to be a little too much for me.

The return period is extended! I can easily prove it. :)

I can take a pic of my receipt that shows the extended dates. Its Jan 15th ill do it tomorrow.

Here is my thinking on this. It's not really spelled out. Both policies are listed (Jan 15th as well as 14 day). My worry is that the Jan 15th deadline is only if it is an unactivated phone (xmas gift). However, the 14 day policy would stand if activated. I don't think there is anything either way that spells it out and as such, it would be luck of the draw. One rep will honor it, another will not. Kinda scary!

Thats my fear as well... I dont want to be stuck with a phone for a year or so that I dont really really like

Both policys are on there though... how do you know they wont go with the policy at the top? And what determines whether you pay restock fee or not??

Your being way too paranoid. the 14 day return is always there they just add the promotional extended date to the regular receipt. You always pay a restock fee, unless the phone is malfunctioning. Ask a manager about it if it makes you feel better before you buy.

g'night fellow nexaholics. I am hoping for more positive news in the next few days. For your and my own sanity ;)

VZW - wake up and release the phone already. Samsung and Google seem to think it's ready. If your crapware is the cause of the delays, push a fix later. Just don't screw the masses of TECHNICAL people capable of a) avoiding your garbage software to begin with, and b) are willing to assume the risk of a "beta" experience with ICS. We're used to it with google ;)

Agreed. I would not think of doing this unless I can get something in writing (or an email) that states specifically if I activate the phone, I have until Jan 15th for an exchange. I'm not saying it won't happen, I just have seen VZ do things differently between stores/managers/employees. Since the terminology is a bit vague, I don't trust it as of yet.
