There are no 4G plans. There are no 3G plans. There are no 1X plans. You sign up for a DATA plan. All three of these spectrums are included and can be unlimited to loyal verizon customers or capped at 2gb for new people. If you're capped and use 1 gig on 3G and 1 gig on 4G, you've reached your data cap.

The ReZound seemed to be about the same size as the DInc2, but really fast. I thought the weight was good too, it didn't seem too thick, or too thin.

I made a decision in a hurry, which is never a good idea, but I think for me, I will be happier if I get stuck with the ReZound more so than the RAZR, if the GNEX get's delayed beyond the return period. Everyone is different, and I encourage you all to take a look at them both to make your own decision. Please don't let my opinion make up your mind. Have an open mind, but consider the points I made.

So you're thinking of switching to the ReZound basically based on size and fit in your hand? Makes sense. How about the display between the two. I was definitely more impressed with the Razr's display.

Is ICS also promised for the ReZound? If so I'll give it another look. I'm not sure what the history of HTC radios is. We know about the Sammys, but I've never had an HTC. Have you heard anything on that?

To Whom it May Concern:

My name is ******* and I am speaking on behalf of thousands of members of android forums from multiple popular internet sites, as well as countless other Verizon customers and future Galaxy Nexus-owners.

We were very excited to see the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in Hong Kong back in October. We were even more thrilled when it was announced that it would be releasing in the United States in

I would like to add really quick before I bounce on out of here:

VZW's greatest fear is a drop off in new subscriptions. NOT our immediate satisfaction. The apparent intent of this letter should reflect that. By the summation I proposed above, I alluded to that directly. Some of us (like myself) have no other option for a wireless carrier. By saying "if you don't do this I'm leaving." and leaving it at that is only half of the argument. The point needs to be made that, even those that will stay (for whatever the reason ie: service coverage, unlimited data grandfathered etc.) that we wont be able to honestly recommend others sign up with VZW if they have a choice.

The question of what to title this email came up earlier and I don't know if its been touched upon since then. I agree, anything titled regarding Galaxy Nexus will be immediately met with trepidation. Perhaps something like this will be more affective:

"Formal Complaint Inquiry"

See you all on the flip side!

Agreed. Good point! Anything about the NEXUS may be filtered.

Thank you!

If you look on the razr forum here, there is battery issue thread. Some users are having horrendous 3 hours of moderate usage between charges.

The Razr is IMHO better in about every way other than battery life than the Rezound. If there was no Nexus coming out I would probably still return the Razr because of the battery. It's that bad.

i return my Rezound yesterday and I`m using a crappy flip phone, and Verizon needs to pull there heads out of their A@@es and release it already, maybe I need to buy a droid charge and use that as a back-up phone and use that until Verizon come to there senses.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Don't get a Charge!!!! Been there done that. Trust me you'll regret it. The radio sucks big big time.

16GB vs 32 GB?

Heh... if you can listen to 32GB of music in a 24hr period my hat is off to you.

I can say that because I have a 16GB card in my OG Droid that has never had more than 1.5 GB on it.

But, being this is Google and how they want to get into the data storage business in the clouds....... issuing 32GB phones with non-removable storage in not as smart as issuing 16GB phones with non-removable storage.

The 1st thing that came to mind when I seen the non-removable thing was we were being herded into the clouds.

So, 16 or 32 I'm still in.

Rezound has an HD Screen that many reviewers are saying is even better than the Galaxy. The RAZR Screen is atrocious.

The display on the ReZound was better to me than the RAZR, but just didn't seem as big. I think in the long run though, bigger doesn't mean it's better when I am afraid I will break it. That's why I am probably going to take the RAZR back, regardless of what I decide to get in it's place.

I can only say good things about the RAZR. I had it for a few days and thought it was a great phone. The battery life was excellent lasting me all day between charges with moderate to heavy usage. The voice quality was the best I have ever had. Took it back in anticipation of the SGN but may just go get one again for good.

That's another thing I forgot about. The sound quality of the Motorolas have been consistently excellent for me. Not that my Charge was bad, but it sounded a bit tinny by comparison.

I was really dead set against the Razr based on the sealed battery, but it really seems reports are good. I've got a Bionic now that I like (no issues), but I need to use the heavy duty battery to get through a solid day and with that it's pretty heavy and a 'fatso'. It's still a great phone though and heads & shoulders better than the Charge I had.

I agree. With most of our storage intensive stuff remaining in the cloud there is little need to have a lot of resident data on the phone. Our docs, pics, music are for the most part in the cloud. I don't see it as that big of a deal.

Sorry I owned both phones and I don't agree. The Rezound does have an HD screen but resolution isn't everything, color saturation is just as equal. It really depends on what you like better in example iPhone screen or Galaxy S2 and it's lower resolution. Galaxy for me!

Here is the problem:

16GB isnt really 16 because some is taken up with the software on the phone already. So you start around 14 and then add your apps, photos, the thing takes video in 1080p, those wont be small files.

If you are like me and spend most days on a plane you want a hefty playlist so you arent listening to the same 16 songs every day the rest of your life.

And then there is the price. With all the other phones now standard at 32GB to charge the same (or more) for a phone with half the storage is insane.

I have to stop before I go all Clark Griswold rant...

Are they the exception or the rule? It seems that most reports have been good, but I didn't read that thread and I don't know how representative those reports are. But it is a concern I'll admit.

I love it Han (and the original author, whom I'm not as familiar with)! I think it is the perfect mix of respect but unrest. Very well written. The only thing I might change is the bottom (on behalf of over 500,000 furious...). On the other hand, as I think about it more, maybe not. It is impressive to see our numbers.

I want to know as soon as this goes out.

We all need to send this and put our own name in the space provided. One letter/email is not going to make a difference, but if they get this form letter from ALL OF US, it will make a difference. It takes many, but will force them to acknowledge us publicly as opposed to privately as they have tried to do so far.

I'm just not a big cloud fan. I spend a lot of time on airplanes and in foreign countries where I don't have access to the "cloud."

I like the idea of a cloud for syncing common items between computer and phone, but I want MY stuff on MY phone/computer when there's not a cloud in the sky.

Will add that.
Still looking for the number of people who have participated int his thread :) that could really surprise them!

I think it's appropriate to hit them with "impressions" because I think they may be accustomed to that.

So instead of how many people here participated, how about -

As seen by the Nexus-preferring membership at AndroidForums.com (link to this thread) - Over 864,000 hits and growing hourly on this thread alone, all interested in the answers to these questions.
