I am to committed to this phone for me to give up I cant stand having a buggy OS that never gets fixed

Tmobile has a history of carrying Nexus devices.... in light of how the the Gnex has been handled I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last Nexus device on big red.

Wow, I missed the Phases/Rob thing until I saw the title change. Unimpressed. I would encourage everyone to drop ALL off topic posts from here on, which will leave very few posts with this utter debacle that VZW is directly responsible for. Let the other forums take the glory for thread hits per Google stats. And yet people couldn't thank those 2 posts enough. Don't get it, not feeling it.

Wow, really? :( Ok, I'll try to clarify.

People were starting to go overboard. Mailbombing Verizon might get you an announcement, but it definitely causes a work disruption for innocent employees. And doing that with the forum's name adds insult to injury.

That's all that was about, really.

The call to cutbacks on the thread milestones was a carefully considered point on Phases' part. We are only concerned that moving forward, posting about post number milestones may obscure the real milestones for the phone. If you want that reconsidered, a friendly PM is your best bet.

We're still the same cats as yesterday, working hard to give a venue that's fun and informative for people of all walks.

Besides, I would personally miss you here!

Welcome to our shared agony.

Glad you feel better. I am going to have to research all of this guys (and any girls that are lurking) - some of you are saying in order, now Han is saying not in order. Do not confuse the girl new to geekdom. It is not nice. ;)

Lol.

Trust Captain Solo on this one. I-III were added as an afterthought. Episode IV and V are two of the greatest movies ever made. Lucas started there for a reason. I highly recommend you watch I-III, but only after you have seen the originals.

And someone said the forum was slow on the weekend thus we would not get 40k

Looks like we may actually get 40k this weekend after all :D

Lol.

Dammit BB! No research!

Fellow SW fanatics: do we not remember the uneasy yet thrilling agony as we watched Episode III unfold? Would it have been as dramatic and emotional if we had not known the story that was yet to come?? Can we really let her cheapen the experience?

Okay, BabyBlues, I've got it! iPhones are the North Face of phones - solid and effective, but there are much better options out there and you know everyone that got one only got them because they're "popular." Haha, that better?

Much better! Thank you.

LOL! Ok - unless someone comes up with an awesome counter argument I will do as you say.

Han's got the right idea. Watching it in order would be similar to feeling the horrible, awful-to-feel-and-look-at hangover before an awesome night of drinking. Vomiting, anger, Jake Lloyd...ugh.

Sooo... Off topic posts are still fair game?

Hey Cam,
Now that Oklahoma St lost, And if Alabama loses (Again) What would you think about an Oregon vs. LSU rematch fro the BCS Championship? :)

I see there is at least one other Duck fan here too! :D

This weekend? How about TONIGHT? :)

I stopped for dinner... what's the latest argument? Oh yeah...

I agree with Han: the first time you watch Star Wars, watch 4-6 then 1-3. Afterwards, feel free to watch them in order.

Then after THAT: convert them for viewing on your new Nexus!

See how I threw that Nexus part in to stay somewhat on topic? ;)

Ok my friends - now I'm going to step away from the computer and be mobile for a while. Dinner with friends at one of my favorite restaurants - Jose Tejas - margaritas and camptown shrimp! Yum. If you're ever up this way - you should go. It's delicious.

You know I can't stay away though so I'll be checking. :D

Question about this thought process....because the Nexus is unlocked and unencrypted wouldn't this be useless given the fact that any Custom ROM would circumvent this and open back up the full 32gig?

That's a good point. I guess it wouldn't be disabled in the OS, maybe it would be some undocumented configuration option in the SoC. Intel now has some (officially, legally) user-upgradeable CPUs, so maybe they could use a similar method.

Han just wants you to watch 4-6 first so that you don't have to wait 3 full movies to see him. :p

seriously though, i think watching them in numerical order instead of release order is going to ruin an entire generation of children. [/overreaction]

But yet 100 posts about a movie is just fine

The milestone posts are really the smallest part of all the off topic talk that I don't see it being a big deal. Funny part is I hit two of them without even trying or noticing we were close to it :D

I couldn't care less if its allowed or not but I find it funny that all of the other silly things are allowed.

Watch them in the order Han says. 4-6, then 1-3. It is the only way as I think watching 1-3 first will take away from the later movies and that wouldn't be good.

+1
Seriously contemplating telling my kids that 1-3 are in fact cheap, imitating knock offs, only valuable for some semblance of back story. Just sayin'.
