agreed, I think black friday as a reason is over rated. release before x-mas in general is much more important in sales terms. I think before or after thanksgiving is much less important

Most likely since the VZW version is different than the GSM version... and VZW hasn't released anything... there isn't a phone or enough specs to make anything from. Obviously there are a couple of cases, but, I think those were made exclusively for VZW.

...I'm seeing a pattern...

I believe 1 is good evidence (at least as good as we are going to get) that the phone is coming out this month. Maybe someone can argue that 3 is not reasonable, but I believe BF is a bad day to launch a phone.

I think if there is going to be a release this month, we will hear an announcement tomorrow. A release tomorrow seems crazy, seeing as many of the stores are reporting that they have not received training yet.

I agree with you. I find it really hard that a phone would release on Black Friday. It just doesn't make sense. A release tomorrow would be crazy considering it's only a couple of hours away. I honestly feel that a November 28th release is the most likely choice. December 8th probably would be the latest. I personally think we will hear something this week and end up picking up the phone next week.

I agree with the announcement tomorrow. However I think they will either launch on Wednesday or BF, because otherwise they're screwed with no other option until the next Monday (unless they do Saturday, which doesn't seem likely).

Verizon has a case, holster, etc. in some stores. You can probably find some on eBay.
 
Where can I find a side by side picture with the Nexus and Razr? Everywhere I search it is resized pictures. I want a real world side by side size comparison. I have the Razr now, but may swap...

Does anyone know if I bought it through Verizon's website (pre order) can I just take it back to a store to swap?

I do see the point about not wanting to launch on BF. Just a way crazy day to launch things on and the people would walk in and be like "You aren't giving me $50 off this phone on BF? Screw you!" When if they just wait until Monday they can charge regular prices and leave the craziness of BF behind. Though I'm not really putting much stock in the 28th either, but at this point it is really the next day that makes sense. About 3 or so days ago the 28th was really gaining traction before the explosion of "week of the 21st" leaks, and now the Dec 8th stuff. I'm not counting on the 28th but it is the next day I'm thinking is an option.
 
I stopped by a Verizon corporate store this afternoon. Took a look at the Razor and Rezound. I had fairly similar impressions of them from what others here have mentioned. I was really tempted to pick up a Rezound for now, but decided against incurring the $35 restocking fee when I'm still hoping there is some chance the Nexus will be out this week.

The semi-interesting news was that this store had not yet received any training or accessories.
