My theory is that there is no rhyme or reason for the time and he's just trying to make us wonder.
 
hey guys,

so if the 12/8 release ends up being true (knock on wood), then would the double data deal still be applicable? im kinda worried that by waiting for the gnex il miss the double-data promotion.

no one has mentioned this yet that i have seen so i thought id bring it up...

thanks in advance.

Wow if that happened I wouldn't even know how to react. I think I might just want to skip school to get it ;D
Anyways, I like how this thread has gone from carefully constructed theories based on documents, to "ok f**k it, it's coming this week let's just make random guesses to keep our hopes up" :) Not that there's anything wrong with that.
 
Ok, so that is correct. Google came out and mentioned why the barometer was there. It was after that article when someone tracked down an expert to explain the workings of a barometer for GPS enhancement and he stated it wouldn't help a great deal. After reading Dan Morrill's comments more closely, I see that what the expert was talking about was probably a moot point. It doesn't need be accurate. Just a fast estimate. So the speed enhancement depends on the quality of the sensor for processing that information quickly and does not need to be totally accurate. This is a good thing ;)

No, it wouldn't overlap. However you could just get a Rezound or RAZR to tide you over so you can catch the DD train, then return the phone and pick up the GNex.

My game never crashes. Game has never frozen or anything. Worst that ever happens is I can't deploy for a minute or so after I die about once every 15 matches. Happens once and theb works great again. I've heard others have had issues tho

is this something that you would do? it seems kind of risky especcially if we get boned for the 12/8 release and i still dont have the phone by the end of the return period. can i get the data deal with pre-ordering. that might work if i can find a store willing to let me preorder
