***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

Ok, everyone needs to take a deep breath. This phone is not dropping until Christmas time. The phones are ready. No defects. It's purely a fiscal decision. There are 4 reasons for this decision;

1) RAZR was just released
2) ReZound was just released
3) the iPhone 4S is still on back order
4) Verizon execs are crack heads.

There ya have it.

Fixed that for ya. :D

Hmm... while this make sense, and I obviously have nothing against you, but where are you getting this info? I'd like to see some credibility here...
Sorry if it's already been established (I'm not being sarcastic).

iPhone 4S is on backorder according to Verizon's listings (Will ship by 12/9).

Call quality in the few that ive taken is good. Havent ventured out into the world to see what its like with normal usage though. Had it on charge once to get to full battery and this is were im at so far:

Looks good, but everyone should keep in mind that it takes several charge cycles before the phone learns the battery and accurately reports info.

But looks promising.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but if I get the Rezound at Costco and then I return it when the Galaxy Nexus comes out, will I pay the $299 (guessed price) for it, or will I have to pay the full retail value? Better yet, I could get it at Amazon for $0.01 right...? and then return it for the shipping fee then get the nexus for $299. Lol this is just a little wishful thinking that I've been having.

1. I hope to God you're right.

2. Add me to your list. I like your source.

Interesting... That's the first I have heard of that. It came from Kellex too, but he does say there is no way to know if the LTE version for Verizon does the same thing or not. Apparently, time will tell, but I DO trust in Han's sister. Her info has seemed to be spot on and always comes with the disclaimer, subject to change.

I hope you will add me as well Han. I admit to a bit of brown nosing here by linking to a post of mine a few pages back......

Thanks, but Do any versions of gmail have it? My Dinc doesn't.

I guess I'm asking is this lost functionality or merely a unfulfilled wishlist item.

Mine doesn't either. It's the only reason I will sometimes forward emails to my aol account. That one resizes with no problem.

Costco has a 90 day exchange policy where you can exchange your phone for any other phone and simply pay the difference. Just check with your local Costco.

I got my Bionic from Costco on Sep 8 and desperately need the Nexus to drop BEFORE Dec 8. If it goes beyond the first week in Dec, I am stuck with Bionic as my 90 day window will be over.

Even though this launch is seriously ruffling my feathers, I am down for the Nexus whenever it comes out. Because I truly believe this is the last time Verizon will be getting a crack at a Nexus. Even though there will be devices announced at CES that will be truly amazing none of them will be a pure google device. Unless, with ICS we see more unskinned devices. I hope so but I cant see Motorola or HTC letting go of blur and sense. And I went to check out the Razr and the Rezound and for me the Razr was like a pop tart and the Rezound was a little bulky. Gimme the Nexus(hopefully sooner than later VZW) Please and thank you!!!

OK so it seems the vzw double data promotion ends on the 30th of November and the Nexus is not coming in November. Looks like I have to buy a Rezound and exchange it for a nexus to get on the data thing. ...
There is some indication that the promotion runs through the end of the year. To help avoid the dilemma that you describe, I am hoping that Rob will consider clarifying this with Verizon Wireless. If you have not seen them already, Rob's post is here, and my answer to his questions and request is here.

They dont look as good as they could put it like that. Formatting is a bit skew whiff in full HTML mail. But yes there is scroll lock, simply because swiping left or right brings up the next email.
