I see. VZ doesn't guarantee the high speeds we've seen here in the ATL and I doubt it's your TB. Maybe the GN will be better though for ya.

Or maybe Tampa area just has a lot more LTE subscribers hmm...wonder

Yeah i think weve got alot. Verizon is HUGE down here, with Fios and LTE both using this area as a launch area. I live right between orlando and tampa now. about 15 miles south of I4 (almost dead center in the state) and I get LTE coverage when no one else really services this area.

I am all caught up today and have learned nothing new. What the heck? Where is all the good news that I have been awaiting. Groundhogs day is getting old.

Yeah pretty much all over the area thats what Ill get. At different times, i may hit 8 down, but thats only after midnight.

My brother has the same result, he has a thunderbolt as well, it could be a thunderbolt issue, but others in different areas are fine. I dont know if the Nexus will be any different

I think it all varies based on your location, population density, and tower capacity. I work in the Brandon area so I'm closer to you and getting between 6/2 in my office building, but when I'm closer to home in North Tampa I have about 13/8. I'm also on the new Razr so I can't comment on how the Tbolt works in my area.

When I was on Tmobile, my signal was very spotty at home. If I traveled to Clearwater or the Airport my connection was almost double. I'm not justifying the ups and downs, but that's why all providers have wording in their service contracts that they support up to certain speeds.

No VZ TV service in the Atlanta sometimes wished we did have it Comcrap oops srry Comcast has this area on it's knees. I'm not knowledgeable on LTE but I'd guess FIOS does have an effect.

Bet the weather sure is nice there ;) winter=drag imo

I had 2-3 mb speeds with the bionic in Tampa... Horrible.

The Galaxy Nexus Blazes Past the iPhone 4S and DROID RAZR as Fastest Smartphone

Nitro's got some pretty killer specs to be sure, especially the screen. Unfortunately, looks like it's AT&T only, at least for now. Plus, it's only got 4 GB of internal storage, and a locked bootloader. I'll stick with the Nexus. :D

but the P930 has a LTE radio.... Im not a fan of LG IMO. They always looked a bit kiddish. My parents had a old red flip one and it was really weird

Shouldn't the thread title be changed from 11/21 since that's kinda come and gone now?
I think I might stop hanging out here so often, I feel like I'm losing the "surprise" factor for when I get the phone cause I'll have seen every review and video about it by the time I have one in my hands.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still be excited as hell when I get it, but I want a bit of the newness and curiosity saved for the day when I'll be dancing around like a moron with my phone haha.

I have comcast and while it's not terrible in my area it could be cheaper. The only competition around is AT&T, but even still it's not really competitive...
I have a few friends with Time Warner or Knology a few miles away but they've never been available in my area. Comcast runs the roost.

Bet this has been answered but i just read it now.

Asus makes PC equipment and has been making it for at least 20 years. Most of the pc's i have built i used Asus motherboards. They make some very nice laptops and have gotten great reviews on their hardware. The first transformer tablet i think is the #2 selling tablet behind the ipads, and you can beat the bang for the buck from them.

And yes I'm waiting for both a Nexus and a Prime myself.

Waiting for the nexus and just ordered the Prime... Or pre ordered. I'm pumped.

I think that date is referring to the date we received the latest info, not the latest release date.

It might be the Tbolt. Friend of mine from college still lives in Tampa and got the Tbolt for work. After a month or two he started having issues with the 4g connection. Ended up replacing it with a Charge and has had better speed. He's considering going to the Rezound though, he really misses Sense. All three phones were a big step up from his BlackBerry Storm however. :)

He's up in Lutz though, not sure if it just might be less congestion up that way.
