That's when we will have it. Verizon is slow. RT @packruler: @NegriElectronic be careful with dates on VZW its like crack to people
I guess 12/9 is really when they're expecting shipment. Curious...NegriElectronic Negri Electronics
Based on the information we were given by OUR contact at #Verizon, we are set to have stock on 12/9. We will update here when we know more.
Ya guys know I LUVS ya all (but specially Han, BB and OTD), and I feel for ya too. Those VZW Boardroom videos were made with LOVE dammit!!!
But I gotta tell ya, every day you spend sitting here in the purgatory of "WHEN?!?!?" is another day that you COULD have been a satisfied, happy ReZound owner like me.
I'm not here 39 times a day like I was when I was waiting out the Nexus, but I am still here, and I will NOT leave my beloved Nexians until VZW finally decides to RELEASE THE KRAKEN.............. LOLIt won't be long before we have S-Off, and ICS Roms, and this HTC phone....... MAN.......... this HTC phone....... maybe I am biased because I do use my phone for music a lot each and every day, but this phone is THE SHIZZLE!!!
They could release the Nexus right now for $99 RETAIL and I would STILL say that "You can have my ReZound when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers".............
I'm Just saying. Your mileage may vary. But I think you've all suffered enough. And besides, when was the last time (and when will be the NEXT time), that you can experience an HTC device that GETS GREAT BATTERY LIFE?!?!?!![]()

For you "Give me NEXUS or give me DEATH" folks, I hope you get a CONFIRMED Release date soon - VZW has screwed with you far too long as it is!! For those of you who are thinking, or have thought, "Maybe I will do the "Rent-a-ReZound" program........ go ahead - the 14-day versus Jan 15 return window won't matter cause you will probably fall in love just like me!!! Get perm root, drop the bloat, throw an ICS ROM on there and it will be GO TIME BABY!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!!!!!
PS - Is Han HATING VZW or LOVING VZW today? Just wondering...
Brad
I'm so happy that you love your phone. Sometimes things happen for a reason.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
Hans is currently in a happy place with verizon. At least for this very moment. He is still like a school girl in love with his Dinc2.
Now we are just waiting on the cease and desist letter from #Verizon. #NEGalaxyNexus #GalaxyPrime

@NegriElectronic that's cause VZW is worried about their marketing to much, #NEGalaxyNexus is better than a #VZGalaxyNexus

Hypothetical....let's just say Verizon ends up just scrapping Gnex in general. Right now what is the best phone they have to offer. I plan to root and customize probably w/ CMx whenever it is available. Would love any input.
Honestly, from the outside looking in, i cant believe how you lot across the pond are treated. Even if you are all waiting on Verizon, Google should just release SIM free handsets and let people pony up their own cash because it seems like some are prepared to do that. If business tactics like that happened over here there would be an uproar.
Fair enough- I hope you're right, because if you are, VZW won't dare to screw up the GNex launch any more than they already have.

No unfortunately, the bug still persisted. The only saving grace is that Samsung have acknowledged the problem and are working on a software fix.did that volume app help you out the other day?

And I postulate: How have they screwed it up?
I know the popular opinion is that they are incompetent, inept and only concerned with greed. But the situation is more complex than most people can comprehend. I've been in similar situations, from the inside, and can understand public opinion on the perception that a company has no idea what they are doing.
Back to "screwed up launch". By most rumors, there have been issues with the software. We here would also be the first to crucify Verizon for releasing a product that is incomplete. We'd then all be screaming that they rushed an unfinished product out the door for greed. So it's far more prudent for them to hold back the date.
As for being more forthcoming with information, this is something that I would like.......but absolutely understand why they won't. Suppose they announced a date, then had to backpedal and told us it was because of problems. We'd here be happy. Horray!
But the public relations nightmare would only be starting. Imagine articles on MSNBC and CNN stating that it's held back because of issues. The casual buyer sees that and gets turned off. Now imagine an Apple campain talking with Justin Long crucifing a robot over his inability to get released. Imagine the backlash from other competitors such as blackberry or WinMo lambasting Google for it's inability to release a flagship phone. An ice cream sandwich getting squashed or some such nonsense.
No, as much as we don't like not knowing, Verizon is doing the absolute correct thing here. Keep in mind, that Google and Samsung are also invovled. There is no animosity, not hatred. All companies are working together to get this phone released. All the conspiracy theories are absolute bunk.
So the beginning of December is looking pretty sweet for me...
11/30 - Wifes RAZR comes in (i get her inc)
12/5 - wifes first doc appointment about our baby
12/6 - Xbox Live update
12/8 - Gnex supposed to come out
And I postulate: How have they screwed it up?

And if you buy VZW's official "reason" for the delay, and yes I said delay since the phone was supposed to launch in November, then I get your reasoning. And I postulate: How have they screwed it up?
