What would be the point of releasing any new product on Xmas eve? It's not as if most people could actually pick it up in time for someone's present.

Every day after the 8th the Nexus stays unreleased is another day I administer a small scratch on their precious Dinc2's screen.

If they delay past Xmas, it goes in the toilet.

Not sure on here if you can upload directly, but an easy way is to use Imageshack or Photobucket and copy/paste the IMG tags into your post. (EarlyMon don't burn me if this is bad advice, I claim ignorance :cool:)

Well they did say week of Christmas Eve, right? That'd be 12/22 (for a Thursday). But yeah, they'd really be missing out on a lot of Christmas sales releasing it 12/22. To maximize Christmas sales, I'd think 12/8 would be the latest they'd want to release it, 12/15 at the absolute latest.

yeah it doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me either, i just sent her an email asking where that date came from, whether it was official from Verizon (which i doubt) or if she got that from her manager or whoever. its her @verizon email so i assume she only gets it when she works so i'll post her reply when i get it.

If they do release Xmas "week of" I don't think it could be any more blatantly obvious of their device favoritism and I wasn't a proponent in the least of this "initial theory". However, I'll still wait :D

Christmas eve is a Saturday anyway, so I'm assuming that when they say "week of Christmas Eve", they mean shortly after Christmas (either the Monday after, the 26th, or the Thursday after, the 29th, is my guess)

Then again, the CSR just could have been trollin'.

I'll wait for it but it might get harder as Christmas gets closer and the money set aside for this could buy gifts.

Exactly what i ended up doing. Thought I'd be able to wait it out w/ my OG droid, but after it decided to start playing music out loud and freeze up on me in a public place I decided so give in and rent an r-phone. Went w/ the rezound since the razr felt like I was holding a pop tart.

Worst part is that the 29th would still fit their end of the year promise. As much as it would suck, from what they have shown us so far, it wouldn't be that big of a shock.
 
I swear if Verizon waits till the week of Christmas Eve to release it I'm gonna flip...a whole month later than the rest of the world? Seriously? I mean, even Canada is getting it before us...LOL :p

Yep - easiest way from a browser is the tool that looks like this in the above toolbar -

That works too - be sure the file type is jpg, gif, png - if it's ending in a numeric reference, or has scripting components, or required session cookies, it won't work.

Give it a go and if things don't work, I'll try to edit the post and help.
