Not that I "like it so much" really as much as "it works, it holds all my music, I can download more stuff if I want to, and its not a unicorn"

I didn't realize how much I was sucked into the Nexus vortex train until I was forced to get an essential piece of communication equipment(god whatever happened to when a beeper was essential? lol)

PLEASE don't hesitate to do this next time EarlyMon. It's sometimes very hard to see if anything relevant has been posted, and I think the "Latest Info" is good to have as part of the thread title.

Wait.. need to reactivate? You have unlimited data and you have to reactivate it? Can you lose it if you're technically out of your 2 year contract?

It's not a unicorn is probably the #1 reason most people have jumped. Second reason being the deals that have popped up.
I had a beeper! Lol.

I am going to ride this train till it comes into the station or ends up in a big fiery ball of catastrophic disappointment and depression

My TPU case sould be here Tuesday. At least I'll have something in my hands that will give me a "hands on" indication of how big this baby really is.

Too bad there won't be a phone inside it :(

EDIT: Screen protector should be here Thursday. Now all I need is my beautiful baby!!
 
I see the $0.01 Rezound on Amazon "usually ships in 1-2 months" now. Wow, they went through a lot of those things. The RAZR is only 8-9 days out.
 
Okay I have some concrete information. I called my corporate VZW and asked for a release date and of.course got nothing.

So I called my local Best Buy and asked about the release date of the Galaxy Nexus. Once again nothing but air! I became very frustrated so I made my last.call to an insider and.low and behold PAY DIRT!!!!!!

"Ring, ring, ring," Hello? ....,...... After a brief conversation with "Jimmy" I was able to confirm that Pizza Hut is still running the $10 any size any toppings deal!!!!!!!!!!

At some point though, the hype becomes so large that disappointment is impossible.

hypothetical examples:
The GPS doesn't work... That is feature keeps people from breaking California cell phone laws.

The Volume Rocker doesn't work... That is a feature that keeps people from accidentally turning up the volume when they dont want to.

The Phone function doesn't work... Who uses a phone to make calls nowadays anyway.

I would say more accurately, most of us here in this thread hate Verizon quite a bit--Han is just more prominent with his display of that hatred, lol

G-Nex
can be reluctantly acknowleged..Sometime early in January...of course in January, we have CES coming up...so thats out, I guess the target release will be sometime in March...20013

what i have gathered from the last 10 pages.

1. Best Buy needs a better proofreader

My paper on the Theory of Constraints (can you say BORING?) is due today and I have managed to get halfway on it by typing a few sentences, refreshing and catching up on this forum and repeating...

When it comes to homework I am of the "Why do tomorrow what you can put off until the day after?" I kinda think Verizon adheres to this very same philosophy :p:(:mad:
