Anyway here goes with my repost:

Anyone here watching the Steelers/Chiefs game?

During the commercials I saw the Verizon Cyber Monday tablet ad at least a few times. What is weird about this one is that two un-named cell phones are shown to blur past while the tablets are named in between in the lineup. They are definitely not either of the R-phones because they have curves at the top and bottom. Is it just the Stratosphere...or some other more anticipated Samsung??
I would love to see this commercial in slow-mo to know for sure...

I don't even know how much to trust that news roundup. Why haven't there been any other reports of Verizon's confirmation? We've all been complaining about their lack of communication, so any level of confirmation from Verizon would be big news. My guess is that the site simply drew the conclusion that "Oh, Verizon said this year, and November looks like a no go, so December it is!", rather than a direct confirmation from Big Red themselves.
 
The sad part is, I'm pretty sure that my productivity is at an all time low at work.

I wonder if there is some way to collect wages lost while waiting on product release?

Chiming in here, don't think that site is very reputable. It looks like a child designed it first of all. Secondly, they mention Verizon is headquartered in New York City? Since when was Basking Ridge, NJ considered part of NYC? (As someone who lived in northern NJ, including Jersey City, for the first 25 years of my life, I can say, there's a big difference!)

The site lays this story in an "official" press release-style format, but doesn't list the correct city/state of VZW HQ?

We've gone past "taking it with a grain of salt." We're taking this with an entire case of Ramen right now!

Steven's online, so I guess I should let him say this, but he specifically forbade criticizing mod actions in this thread on the last page. Instead, you can direct any complaints towards Phases.

Although I guess you could argue that the only reason you didn't see that is because it wasn't in the OP but that's way too meta for my brain.

We have to cut out the mod criticism. It's pointless as this is just a forum, and mods are people with feelings aswell.

Maybe a PM to a mod would be the best plan of action for this scenario?

with the only month of this year left being december, did they really need to specify that for everyone? geez, its sad to see verizon has made it where some of us are glad to see they may have actually said december instead of by years end

Looks like they got a side comment during a trading day or something... I'm not really sure but it seems pretty legit to me.

Verizon Wireless is based in NJ, but Verizon Communications is a separate thing and is headquartered in NYC.

Yes, real life away from this thread helps to bring your spirit back up to pace. I have enjoyed the last 4 days off of work and away from this forum getting things done and spending time with family members.:)

Good news this week from VZW will be a plus.;)
 
Pretty interesting weekend of lurking so far! I just want it to come out. The 8th totally makes sense if they halted shipments because of the gsm volume issue, which was diagnosed as a software problem and not hardware (yay). Much later than the 8th and they miss the entire holiday shopping season and as much as we hate Verizon it really does seem like they are going to push this thing when it launches. Plus I can upgrade the 8th :D so I've always selfishly been hoping for that day anyways!
 
Driving to Santa Clara for training this week and even the billboards for VZW are all spamming razr and rezound :/
