i assume the answer to this is yes, but if a preorder goes up, is it possible to go to the store and preorder but have it shipped to your house?

I don't think so, you might want to double-check with your local store though. Perhaps they would be willing to place the pre-order for you.

Your signature and avatar are great reminders of why I spend so much time reading this thread! I feel pretty good about our chances of learning a release date this week. I don't feel so good about my productivity at work however.

Nope, used it as a commercial break would be used and to catch up on emails. Lol. Not any more productive for me. Just a feeling of being lost. :o

im sorry, but for everyone posting this link, how is this news? they have said long ago that it wll be released this year, that pretty much means december at this point right? or am i missing something?

There was a sliver of hope for this week (which would be the last week of November), however now Verizon has confirmed that this week is a no-go in terms of actually having the devices in our hands. Not necessarily in terms of an announcement, however. ;)
 
Because they actually said DECEMBER...not the end of the year. LOL.

It helps confirm that as of Nov. 22 a December launch was planned. There's been talk of a delay to next year. Not that I believe it. This just helps confirm that.

Edit: After looking more the site doesn't appear to be very trustworthy.
 
Something weird happened. No matter how many times I clicked on 1013 it just kept reloading 1012 until I manually entered 1013. Strange.
