I find it odd that all of the prior "sources" have provided no information in the past few weeks. Very strange...

I wish I was willing to spend $750. I certainly have it, but not willing to spend.

And what's the common denominator? I think it starts with a V and ends with erizon.

And where the heck did the Nitro come from? I thought I followed this stuff pretty closely but I haven't heard a peep about a Nitro phone that is in the same neighborhood as the other big 3 that VZW is releasing.

Here's to hoping that some big VZW executive misses out on his multi-million dollar holiday bonus due to this mess. Then he will have to learn how to live on $10 million dollars a year rather than $15 million....HA

This is what leads me to believe that, despite "insider" assurances that there's nothing wrong with the Nexus on VZW, there's some issue that is causing the delay. It makes no sense at all that VZW would be willing to allow other carriers to tout HD screens and ICS and potentially loose sales just so they can push the RAZR and Rezound, especially after making an agreement for an exclusive.

It's been called the "LG Optimus LTE" or the "LG SU640" up to this point.
 
Edit: Beaten several times!

Guys I'm pretty sure the LG Nitro will be released with Gingerbread and it will be upgraded later to ICS. Don't be alarmed.

The Nitro (aka the Optimus LTE) is included in today's released list of phones that will get the ICS upgrade (Android Central link), but it seems to confirm that the Nitro will not ship with ICS.

Completely disagree... LG makes some really nice phones. Just few and far between.
