AirDroid! Fine choice, my friend.

My exciting tech purchases usually make the car before being opened lol

That's about as far as I usually get.
1) buy high tech item
2) go to car
3) open item in car
4) scan what's in the box
5) stop at restaurant and really go over items in box while eating (this step is especially important when cold weather hits and I don't want to freeze in a cold car or waste gas by sitting in a running car to be warm.

With Galaxy Nexus I will most likely have to order it online so that I get a corporate related discount and am able to have the activation fee waved.

Of course I will. Ugh, 5 am is so early.

HA! 4am. Who can beat it? Come on, I know someone can.

Sidenote: following that I'll continue to work until midnight (so long as the flights are on time). And that's just job 1. Job 2 is... well, every hour between then hahaha. I also have a daughter that lives 500mi away that I make every effort possible to be in contact with (including traveling to and from there to spend time with her/ pick her up to bring back here etc). My life = time-suck!

No whining! hahaha ;)

Yeah I'll be ordering online too. On an employee account so it's just easier and no activation fee online

4am should only be seen if you are on night shift or are still up from a night out.

I commend you on the effort you put into staying in touch with your daughter.

Ok, so my initial guess was a new tablet (Xoom2 etc). I'll correct that and guess Note... Is that what we're eluding to here?
The Note is a phone, he said this won't replace a phone. I'm pretty sure he's talking about a tablet. Transformer Prime or maybe Xoom 2.

Dell desktop I ordered supposedly arriving tomorrow

XPS 8300 Intel Core i7-2600 processor(8MB Cache, 3.4GHz)
8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz - 4x2GB
DELL UltraSharp U2412M 24" Monitor with HAS, 24.0 Inch VIS, Widescreen, VGA/ DVI/ DP
AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR5
500GB Serial ATA 2 Hard Drive 7200 RPM
Dell USB 6-Button Laser Mouse
Standard USB 2.0 + 10/100/1000 Ethernet
16x DVDRW Drive

I HATE THIS THUNDERBOLT! My cheek keeps hitting the "END CALL" button and I hang up on people! UHGGG!

You're doing it wrong. Silly th0r, using a phone to make calls.

Sadly, this is probably true.

Soon you will be able to watch movies on your Nexus.

P3 did mention a brushed aluminum back, which one of those tablets has a brushed aluminum back?
