12/8 12:00am GMT is indeed 12/7 7:00pm EST, however it is more likely that P3 didn't take the GMT base of Unix time into account. I don't think it will be exactly 12:00am, I think he was just hinting at the day 12/8. I'd say any time on that day.

Good Morning GNexers. Still no official word from Verizon, but the leaks, rumors, and anecdotal evidence are all firmly pointing at the 8th. Of course the same could be said for the 17th, and then it all disintegrated shortly before the date arrived. But I think we are good to go this time, which means: 1 more week!

Thing is, the 6th wouldn't even be a Pre-order based on his argument, would just be a web only sale two days early. Nah either we get a Pre-order today or tomorrow, or its all going down on the 8th.
