I had to sign a note for FedEx saying they can leave packages without signature.

FedEx Delivery Signature Options for Shipments to Nonresidential Addresses

For shipments to nonresidential addresses, shippers can choose from two of the FedEx Delivery Signature Options. A fee applies.

Note: The policy for shipments to nonresidential addresses is not changing. If no one is available at the delivery address or a neighboring address, FedEx will reattempt delivery the next business day. Or FedEx will deliver the package without obtaining a signature if the delivery address has a signature release on file.

Direct Signature Required. FedEx will obtain a signature from someone at the delivery address. If no one is at the address, FedEx will reattempt delivery.

Note: Direct Signature Required replaces FedEx Express Signature Required and FedEx Ground Auto P.O.D. services. The Direct Signature Required option overrides any recipient release that may be on file for nonresidential deliveries.

Important notice: Until Direct Signature Required is available, shippers can still choose FedEx Express Signature Required and FedEx Ground Auto P.O.D. for an additional fee.
Adult Signature Required. FedEx will obtain a signature from any person at least 21 years old (government-issued photo identification required) at the delivery address.

Note: The Adult Signature Required option overrides any recipient release that may be on file for nonresidential deliveries.

Shippers can still choose the Deliver Without a Signature option for express shipments for no fee.

Here is the Signature Release Authorization.

Would you rather have the SGN come out today but you fall down a flight of metal stairs, or have it come out December 23?

How many stairs constitute a flight?

I'm still sitting on my old Eris, waiting somewhat patiently for the GN. I haven't rooted the Eris yet, primarily out of fear. However, I want to root it prior to getting the GN (probably as soon as I pre-order, if that option is available) so I have some experience with the "guts" of Android before I do anything on the GN.

My question - I understand that rooting voids the warranty on the phone, and I am comfortable with that, but are there any consequences to me as the Verizon account holder (if, somehow, Verizon found out)?

"Top Gun" is a classic?

Yes. AMC Theaters say so.

You can leave a note with your signature on it taped to your door, depending on the driver they'll usually accept it and leave the package right there. I've done it many times :).

That's how I do it too.

Good morning all - me and my mild headache would like to personally guarantee that we will not see a November release of the Nexus. Sorry to disappoint everyone.

Morning. *Here's some advil to help*

If we want to go for breakfast,There is a place on long Beach Island called The Chicken and the Egg. Best breakfast spot I ever ate at.

The Cheg rules - best wings I've had, tons of flavors. All you can eat wing day is always packed though, at least a 2 hour wait if you don't get there early enough. Haven't had breakfast there though I've heard good things.

Absolutely!

Good morning all. Today's the announcement/preorder day. I can just feel it!

Eh. It's okay. Whenever we watch it, it turns into a drool fest for all the wives and gifriends present. Us guys will say "You know he's a freaking crazy nutjob, right?"

Then they start accusing us of insecurity and jealousy... It gets ugly.

15 steps, let's say. Metal with no hand rails.

Huh? You gotta be kidding....wait until the 8th at least.

Lol seriously, I had my points where I would just give in and think of getting the razr or rez, but luckily I come back to my senses every time...

Good things come to those who wait...............most of the time.

The wings there ROCK! I I even bought a bottle of their sauce.

Coming from a military aviation enthusiast, Top Gun was an abomination. I stood up in the theater and yelled, "Those aren't MiGs! They are F-5s painted black!!" My wife, horrified, just rolled her eyes, gently patted me on the shoulder, and said, "That's nice sweetie... just sit down and watch the movie." She's used to it, so she sounded like she was talking with a mental patient. In some ways, she was. :)

I did the same thing, still using an Eris and waited on rooting until a couple weeks before I was *sure* the Nexus was coming out...on Nov 17. So, I've been rooted for almost 2 months now (took long enough, I know), but it was a good decision.

I'm not sure Verizon can do anything about it, just don't bring it in for tech support. Someone yesterday mentioned a CSR with a rooted phone, so I don't think they really care.

I did have another question though. Once the Nexus comes out, I'm giving my Eris to my little sister. Or at least I had planned to, until we realized that they might not be able to transfer her number to my phone since it's rooted. Anyone know if another number will work on this phone, or if it's simple enough to just unroot it?

This made me lol.

Stairs please, you know what they say:

Bones heal,
Chicks dig scars,
Pain is temporary,
Glory is forever! (well at least until my 2 year contract is up)

That would be a code violation which would very likely result in a lawsuit that included punitive damages (for the code violation) that could total a very healthy chunk of change. Therefore, I stand by my previous decision to fall down the flight of stairs. :)

Quick question which I couldn't answer from a Google search. Does the Nexus use Micro sims or standard size? I'd like to be able to swap out the one from my Bionic. All I could find was that the GSM version uses a standard size, but that DL video says micro.

I believe I remember seeing micro sim in one of the written reviews.
