Must depend on the driver. Living in small town USA I've never had a problem with leaving a stickie note on my door:

"FedEx

Please accept my signature below as authorization to leave my package from Verizon

I'll monitor my email to see if anything from Verizon comes in about the Galaxy Nexus, since we should hear something that way first. :)

Expecting nothing. Verizon has been tight lipped so far, so what makes today any different. I expect a release like their last Samsung device the Illusion - "oh, it's available now".

nothing too crazy, just a Ford Fusion Sport. I swear, if this thing is announced for pre-order today, or even silently released today, i will literally collapse and cry. Then get up and immediately order it online, or if in stores, i'll get up put on a shirt, shoes and get my keys and run out the door full speed.

I've never had the email beat other sources of information. For both the Incredible and the Thunderbolt the email was at least 3 days late.

I'm surprised Verizon hasn't tried placing a swinging pendulum above the Razr trying to hypnotize us into buying it.

What day was it Stevens source said it was in testing? Didn't he or someone mention it must be in testing 5 more days.
 
I'm cautiously optimistic we'll hear something today since Ytram was able to find official pics on Verizon's site yesterday. I'm hoping for announcement and pre-order but will be happy if Verizon just says it'll be released online and in stores on the 8th.

Depends on the service also, fed ex express is different than fed ex ground and fed ex home delivery....i get 2-3 packages from each service every day for my bat business...seriously 3 different fed ex trucks each day to the same address...nicely run company

true, at this point any official information at all, good or bad, would at least be something.... official-er
 
Anyone want to take a wild guess around how many Rezound/Razr's they'll get kicked back as returns-turned-refurb? lol

i think the source mentioned that testing in general lasts 5 days.

I first bought a Xoom the day they came out.. took it back three days later. Then bought a Ipad2, don't like it at all. I've had it for six months, now I'm selling that and already pre-ordered a Transformer Prime. I feel ICS on the Transformer Prime and the Nexus will be really the way it should be.
 
Has VZW done announcements on Mondays in the past? 12/5/10 was the date that they turned on LTE, and some tweets from VZ workers have been reminding us of that. Makes good marketing sense to me to say something like "one year ago we turned on LTE, and in just 12 months we've covered x% of America with LTE and now announce the arrival of the NEXt generation of equipment. Preorders start tomorrow the 6th and available in stores the 8th."

PURE SPECULATION on my part, but that's how I would do it - great way to remind people how much money I have spent upgrading my network over the past year.
