LOL me too! Nice screen .
Hey , there is a guy on XDA you mightbe able to help. Bill56 is his name I think. He French and we are having a hard time helping him understand how to do the minimal text battery bar .

I keep seeing SMS, Phone and Gmail widgets on lockscreens that show unread count. I need some help because I can't get my head around a few issues I am having:
1) Gmail unread - I cannot find anything that works! SMS Unread will not let me set-up on my phone; crashes everytime I try to set-up for my Gmail acct.
2) what can I use to change the icons to what I want as far as appearance? I am using Go Launcher so it would have to go with that launcher
3) what does the wifi widget do I see on a few lockscreens?

No dice on Gmail unless you can keep uninstalling gmail updates - no app effectively counts gmail anymore - and I personally gave up on it.
2: An image you want to go into the sms unreadcount widget should be saved as a png in /sdcard/data/com.kanokgems.smswidget/. You can then pick your image when you create the widget as normalNo dice on Gmail unless you can keep uninstalling gmail updates - no app effectively counts gmail anymore - and I personally gave up on it.
Wifi toggles I used in the past were Widgetsoid, wonderful app that allows for vertical settings bars and custom icons - free on the market![]()

So unless I use an email account other than gmail there is no possible way to have an unread count.....? That seriously blows!
The first strike I have against android.

If you have further questions, just ask![]()

And rewinding by hand also saved on battery life as well...kinda funny how that's a worry we still have today...Ha I'm 34 and I totally remember the using the bic pen to rewind, esp when the walk-man (yes I said walk-man) rewind was slow like molasses
well done!

Both of these are not counting gmail for me...might be MIUI, but ADW failed on the first major gmail update a couple months back when I was still stock, would love to hear otherwise if someone's using it now. Elixir's permissions are wicked intense for counts, above and beyond same abilities for SMS unread and ADW.
I made those suggestions thinking he was looking for an unread count for email accounts other than Gmail (inappropriate, k9).
I thought I found one unread app that claimed it fixed the Gmail force-close problem. But I haven't updated my Gmail app in months just to have a working count widget. It's a pain that Google dropped the ball on their main app.
Sorry about the confusion.

No worries Paul, shoulda guessed you were targeting the K9 solution. Glad someone didn't update - carrier forced it down and can't seem to find the easy way to undo it - such a major pain, glad you don't have it![]()
