My question is simple -- is it the one to rule them all?? (I mean till the next Nexus come out anyway)

Yep, 4 Peerless 6.5's, 4 peerless 5.25's, 2 Peerless 4" mids, 8 Crescendo CTS-1 tweeters all being ran in an active setup. Got it all covered.![]()
yes it seems to support every color. Demonstrating Galaxy Nexus Multi-Colored LED - YouTube
I believe it is, but I don't have a specific source with the info I can point to off the top of my head.

Have you not followed the sub thread in here of 'movies BabyBlues hasn't seen'?? Lol.
I have a galaxy nexus running on T-mobile. Just got it yesterday. I know a lot of other people already have it too and have been answering questions, but if you have any questions, shoot away and I'll gladly answer.

This is what I do on my OG Droid, green is email, blue sms, and red whatsapp. It'll be nice keeping this functionality on my "future phone."That's awesome thanks for the youtube link! So I imagine there will be some apps/etc to use them and assign custom colors for various notifications.
So suppose you had it setup like:
- email: red
- mms: green
- sms: blue
- voicemail: yellow
What happens if I get an email, mms, sms and vm all within a few minutes? Does it just cycle through ever color? Or only flash the latest one to be triggered? Seems like it might be a battery drain (albeit not much, it's just a low power LED) if it was cycling through 4+ colors for various notifications, no?

Demonstrating Galaxy Nexus Multi-Colored LED - YouTubeSorry if these were answered somewhere in the thread, but two questions I had:
- was the multi-color LED thing every figured out? will it support basically any color (e.g. is it RGB?) or is it just 3/4 separate, discrete colors?

So does it cycle through all the flashes or just flash the last one?
Got some more good news friends.
A co-worker of mine is a former VZW employee with the corporate folks in product development (she continues to talk about it as if it was the best job she's ever had). I did a little massaging of the ego and asked her to get some intel on our favorite little guy here. After a few hours later this is the text I received:
She specifically clarified my request for a release date. In our current line of business, ECD means Estimated Completion Date. No word back whether that's in store or online... but nonetheless, sounds more n more like we're in for a fun ride next week.
Not 100% sure, I don't think anyone in this place is. All speculation right now but my guess is in the next week and half it'll be out.
The videos I've seen it does indeed cycle through the colors according to which notifications you have. Battery drain on a momentary flash of an LED has got to be so low I can't imagine it even being noticeable

I'm like 99% sure it only does the last one, which is fine for me, all I need it to do is let me know something is there, once I do, I turn the screen on and can see a bunch of stuff in the notification bar if it is indeed there.
