the TPU cases are the best middle ground from what ive found. the otterbox cases are so thick they add alot of bulk and the rubber cases dont slide in and out of my pocket without getting stuck. TPU is bendable but not squishy and firm but not plasticy

thats what i just bought tonight. it should be here on the 8th... a sign maybe lol

i got my wife the pink razr xase with sparkles from them as well lol.. and a OTG cable. all for 29.70 w/free shipping.. and i believe the case comes with a free screen protector

And I assume this will fit the LTE model? I know it's slightly thicker, but the rest of the dimensions are the same right? Just don't want to wind up having a GSM case that doesn't quite fit. :(

I bought the Ditztronic TPU case in smoke. I'm pretty sure it will be in my hands before the Gnex.

I see that the case also ships with a screen protector. Given the fortified, curved glass, and my empty phone pocket rule (NOTHING in the pocket with the phone), I won't be needing/using the screen protector. Anyone in Mps/St Paul who wishes to pick it up from the Prospect Park, Mpls area, can have the screen protector. PM me for it.

they released a memo and said it is universal for both. because it is flexible it isnt like a hard plastic with no give space. they will be able to mold to it easy, especially being such a small difference.
 
Umm why do we have a countdown clock? Has the 8th been confirmed? Is it the release on the 8th? Pre-Orders on the 8th?

Sorry but after what I've seen the last two weeks, seeing a countdown clock with a confirm from VZW is a little premature if you ask me.

yea im a little upset. for a few days steven didnt update the op or give a timer.. and we've been having good luck. i think we're looking at 12/15 now that steve put that up again

I'm all for the release, but if anything like it's been the last two weeks, we all know it could be the 8th, 12th, 15th, or maybe the 31st.

If we had a confirm from VZW, then let's pop open the champagne bottles and celebrate. But the last I've checked, the announcement hasn't been made.

Understand, It *does* sound like the current software is producing over exposed images, but that's likely correctable. Perhaps as simple as adjusting the white balance.

Or not, I don't claim to know. I do claim to not trust Gizmodo.
