First time poster. So glad I found this thread. I'm totally obsessed with this phone and no one in my life understands!!! Try to keep it to myself but I find myself spontaneously talking about it and I get head shakes all around! Can't wait for the release so I can stop talking about it and feel (somewhat) normal again...

Ever since the Nexus One was officially announced we knew Verizon would be getting the device, but here we are still waiting. We thought it would launch on March 23rd at CTIA, but it didn

Since I knew I haven't declined yet....

ICS is stunning in every way I can't believe how well it runs in this beta build on the Inc. It is the most visually appealing OS I've ever seen with eye candy out the wazoo. The transitions are sick.

My GPS works fine. Camera is a no go and audio is a little wonky. Not too much longer before it's a daily for my wife.

Welcome...we all understand that feeling. No one cares until they want tech advice.
 
So can anyone with a tpu case explain what the material is. Is it like a rubbery skin? Hard plastic? Or does it have a more smooth feel to it?...
 
TPU (not the matte kind) is very slippery, unlike silicone, it will move freely out of your pocket with ease. It is also a little bit "harder" than silicone so its not as flimsy/floppy. Hope that helps!

In July I was waiting for the imminent Bionic and SGSII. Then VZW denounces the SGSII for "something better". Then wind of the Vigor came out. So, I waited past the Bionic launch for HD screens, faster processors, and a less ugly device. Then October we got the GN press release... so I blew off the Rezound (barely). And now we are in December and I am still waiting and rebooting my Hero 2-3 times a day. All of that to say... I'm going on 5 months of waiting :(

Thanks! I hope they come out with the soft polycarbonate cases. They are silky smooth and hard at the same time

You may want to check out the matte TPU case (sold on amazon) that was just posted maybe a page or two ago. Looks really nice and professional, and will probably have that soft touch, with all the benefits your looking for.
