Similar, though I scratched that itch and picked up a Bionic for 14 days (without intent to return it gapi ;)), but it just didn't do it for me. My Inc is fine, such a good phone I don't really need a new one, but 18+ months is about my limit and it is time once again.
 
One thing I think hasnt been brought up, but that IS very on topic is the fact, or rather my guesstimation, that verizon will never get a nexus exclusive again. I'll eat a hat if they do but I imagine that due to their stalling, due to the fact they made Matias look like an idiot, probably pissed off Andy Rubin, they will get future nexus phones last every time. Again point it out to me if I become wrong on this and I'll literally eat a hat.

Furthering my belief in this is the fact that by the Nexus 4 all 3 major US carriers will have LTE and google wont have to choose verizon to get reliable 4G

Yeah I saw it, its alright. I just realized my sister has a tpu case on her phone and it still seems too rubbery to me.

I joined this site in September,but I have been a lurker here since April.
The SGSII was my goal as well.

If it was a personal relationship, you'd probably be right. But this is about money. If VZW sells oodles of GN's then everybody will love each other. Business isn't (supoosed to be) personal. And from what I've gathered... VZW wasn't entirely responsible for all of the delays.

I'm not too sure about that. Exclusive Nexus maybe not, but another Nexus why not, after all Big Red is the largest U.S. carrier. Would only make financial sense for Google and Samsung/Moto/HTC (whoever makes the next one) to go with VZ don't you think?

Same here except for the Rezound part. I'm glad the GN on Verizon idea was out there somewhere because I had no idea of what to look for after the Bionic fail and the SGII skip.

I only had to read about 10 posts from Bionic users before I shut down on it.

I am in the same boat... except I was waiting for the Bionic since before CES, when it was announced.

We think we have it bad with delays... I hate to imagine if this delay was like the bionic's.;)

This thread would be well over 200,000 post by the release.

My brother-in-law has a Bionic. I played with it a little last week. It is not a bad phone... just pales in comparison. Definitely better than my dying Hero.

I bought the bionic when it first came out, was good for 2 weeks. Then data drops, black screen of death, and now reboots, I need the nexus now so I can get rid of the bionic.

Watched House from two weeks ago on Hulu tonight. Chase had the the Sprint Hero doing two-way video chat in high res. Very funny considering that there is not front camera, 320x240, and my phone can barely make a frickin' voice call. Wouldn't you think they'd sell that to scene for big bucks to VZW or Samsung or Moto? Why not try to make some money instead of shopping a video chat on a obsolete phone?
