I heard Facebook does not work very well with ICS yet and that Facebook sync does not work with contacts ? I like having that feature on my contacts.:(

I'm starting to see the end of the rainbow.

When I first get this Phone, how do I prevent it from automatically downloading all my apps from my previous phone? I want to manually download what apps I want on this phone since I hear a lot still don't work and there are a bunch I don't want on my new phone. Thanks guys:confused:

Hey All,

First time poster. Been lurking about a month waiting for this phone to come out. I currently own an Original Droid that is barely clinging to life. Can't turn it off without removing the battery and have to turn it on by plugging it into a charger. The power button is completely depressed into the phone.

Steve I have two questions:
1) I have tiny hands for an adult, will I have a problem holding this phone?
2) How fast is the phone?

Thank you all so much for the updates and this thread. It's been a fun read :)

you may be the only person i have ever heard who WANTS facebook to sync contacts. i cannot stand that feature, i hate having 800+ numbers in my phone i am seldom, if ever, going to use. my sole reason for only using FB through the browser is to avoid the sync. At least it's not as bad as it was on BlackBerry where it synced every single birthday to your calendar and set off a reminder at 12:01 AM.

I may be wrong, but I think it's because Facebook isn't ICS ready. Blame Facebook. Use Google+ ;)

I'm pretty sure Google went out of their way to make sure it wouldn't work with Facebook right away. Doesn't mean that they haven't opened up the API so that Facebook can make it work, but I'd lay down money on it being an intentional Google+ strategy.

I was just thinking the same thing, earlier today... is there an easy way to stop the sync of market apps?

Hi Tuesday and welcome to the forums!

To answer your question about fitting your hand, that's an easy answer: only you would know. Steven said it's no bigger than a Droid X, and the extra screen real estate comes from a lack of physical buttons and reduced bezel.

I think you'll be fine, but you will certainly want to go to the store and hold it awhile before committing.

Welcome to AF Tuesday! You'll have to decide on the size for yourself. Fast is subjective but have you seen any of the videos on the GN? There are a lot to see ;)
