This! Why is it so hard to just ask for the date? Next week, next Monday, etc are so arbitrary and could mean completely different things to different people. I still don't believe anything CSR's say anyway but that's a different issue.
 
I think the fact that Tiffany has been the one who was on both of these chats makes it "less" credible.

I'm sure Drex and Steven both got this message from Tiffany, but the lack of confirmation from others makes it likely that Tiffany may be stating her thoughts.

Hey all, this has probably been posted already:

Verizon Galaxy Nexus accessories (with pricing) pictured [from the forums] | Android Central

The "Power and Protection Package" seems silly (YMMV if you like cases), but I think the "Spare Battery Charging Kit" is a GREAT deal. For $40, you get an extra battery and the equipment to charge two batteries at the same time. Further, I think the micro-USB Y-cable could actually have other uses too. This might be a question for someone like EarlyMon to answer fully, but it would seem like with the Y-cable, you could attach two micro-USB inputs (ie. an MHL-HDMI adapter and a HID controller); I applied my super awesome art skills and tossed together a diagram in Paint. Someone please tell me if I'm way off here; if not, this could be a very useful thing to have, especially for gamers.

I remember back when I bought my Droid Bionic there were a lot of stores than didn't have it on launch date but did the next day.

TLDR: Regardless of date 90% chance we are getting it by the end of this week.

Do you think I'll be able to transfer my photos from my OG Droid to the Nexus or should I upload them onto my computer?

As for availability of the phone, I'm not worried at all. I have a Verizon store attached to the building that I work in in Newark. There's hardly ever a line.

I just believe that the fact that a Verizon Galaxy Nexus is on display in a Samsung store in NYC points to a release or at least announcement at some point this week.

It may not be the case with Verizon but Tiffany may just be a name that is used that is non-descript. I worked for an organization where we had to call a bunch of people at a time. If we left a message for someone we would call ourself "Pat" because that kinda works for males or females (Patrick, Patty). But when someone would call asking for Pat we knew exactly what it was for.
 
I agree with that but technically until Verizon announces it for all we know there could be a 0% chance that It's released this week.

No offense meant, but I really wish you would have asked about a specific date or asked about "this week." She didn't seem to say that, only confirmed your question about "next week".

Ugh. We still know nothing.

I'm starting to doubt my own confidence in Tiffany. I mean, only her and one other CSR (was a male, not a "Tiffany'') confirmed the Wednesday date. Every single time I've tried other than that, I've gotten the usual b.s. I'm really getting annoyed lol
