Ooooh I wonder if I should call today or wait until Wednesday (which is when they told me to call back.) My husband is tired of hearing about this phone but was a sport yesterday and went with me to the corp store. :D
 
The girl I spoke with on the phone at the store closest to me seemed like she had been asked many times about it and seemed depressed that she didn't have any information about a release date. She said she hopes at least this month sometime.

aight well i knew it was one of the 1s with a philly area code.. called back got lucky it was a different dude this time said at one point he's heard the 8th but he said it was to be soon because they've received materials on it.. pm sent

I'm starting to think that them saying "I'm showing the 9th" means that they're checking the internet. I can't imagine that their systems say no release date and the 9th at the same time.

I was going to ask Demitri this, but I was afraid of the answer. :(
 
Just called my two local corporate stores:

1st store: Nexus will be out before Xmas ... not sure when.

2nd store: asked if i could put my name on waiting list for Nexus, she said no, but I can make an appointment to pick it up on Friday. I have an appointment at 9:00 AM to pick up my new Galaxy Nexus. They're expecting stock to arrive any day.

Yeah it was at the south store. I was on my way up to my wifes doc by the hospital
 
I think certain stores are getting shipment a day earlier than others.. maybe Florida stores are getting it faster thats why they have answers.

Also I've been getting a few e-mails about these leaked box photos you guys have been sharing and just wanted to stop and clarify that this is not the complete Verizon retail packaging that you guys will get when you purchase your devices. These are unbranded boxes that have been sent out to various reviewers and testers. Also, one of my contacts was able to trace those specific photos to the demo units provided to the Samsung Experience store in NYC.

So just to reiterate, these are pre-release boxes. I hope this will clear things up for you guys. :)

Talked to one of the two corporate stores near me. "We don't have any information on that yet."

Waiting to hear back from the other one....
 
Called my local store and got a pretty friendly guy that just said, "I wish I did (know if they were getting it this week). I've got accessories, screen protectors, and stuff but haven't seen anything on the phone itself."
