I feel the same way, I wasn't able to do any homework yesterday and I feel the same way today. I think I'll get off and try to start it soon though.
This phone, and this Forum thread, is way too addicting.

I'm not going to bother calling my main CSR until either 1) Verizon announces a release date or 2) some of you guys pop in with pictures proving you've picked your Nexus up, whichever comes first. It's just more relaxing that way.
First thing I do Friday morning is snap a picture of me and the phone and post it, lol. Just as much to prove to myself it's real, as to prove to you guys

Wow, you all got the good stores. All the ones I have called:
"I have no clue"
"We haven't got any information yet"
"Sometime this month"
"Hoping to hear an announcement sometime this year"
"A thursday sometime soon", when asked if he thinks this thursday or next, he said, and I quote, "If I had to guess, it would be this Thursday". Lets hope hes right.
"We dont have any information on a solid release date. We usually know about it a week prior to launch, and get training on the device a week prior to launch, so its not looking like this week, try back next week".
"Projected at the 9th, nothing confirmed right now though"
"The 8th, we have been told that they will be released the 8th, but we are not sure if we (the store) will get them"
Literally called a few stores across the country. It sounds like nobody really knows anything. Possibly hinting at an initial online launch? (last convo) Who knows?... Literally.

I think he is refering to the number of people calling up their local verizon stores and getting "We will have the phone on the 8th/9th..." responses...

you have to expect that response...they know they are risking their jobs by saying anything. As far as they know your someone from Higher up in Verizon just testing them.

So, as a somewhat part-time poster/reader, can anyone verify that at least some of these folks saying that their CSRs told them the 8th or 9th are respected members of the community? Not trying to be offensive, I just don't personally know for myself and it doesn't seem to have been brought up.

Any recent details on the COSTCO release?
Anyone have recent info on the bonus pack that will come with the Galaxy Nexus? I'd be more interested in sacrificing my $50 loyalty credit if the pack comes with a dock or spare battery.

LOL, I re-read that
I'm on pc right now, have been living with 1 song driving around. (by the way audiogalaxy is working better for me in bad reception areas)That seems to be true to a certain extent. Although, regionally, there seems to be some pretty good evidence they are getting the phone Thurs.
