I know it's been posted already, but be extremely wary using Google Wallet on a hacked ROM. I would love to believe that all devs are well-meaning and would never do anything to harm someone else financially, but this is the real world, and ripoff artists are more common than Galaxy Nexi.

If you ever want to get someone to buy your story, make it about having explosive "stomach" issues, Pink eye (nobody wants it because it spreads), or if you're a lady... use the lady thing.

Nobody will ever question you going to work/school. Don't fake deaths! It's bad karma. Always fake throw up, poop, or pink eye stories. It works every time!

For the GN... it's worth it.

I had my doubts about owning a Galaxy Nexus this week. But I'm so very excited that THIS Friday is the day. All the waiting and time spent on this thread reading every rumor possible about this thing. I've held off on getting a smartphone for so long because I didn't like anything currently available and waited patiently for the Galaxy S II, then Verizon passed on that so I continued waiting for the Nexus (didn't think it would take this long).

I got the same one today in the mail

I was torn between the transparent smoke and the regular black matte and ended up going straight black.

From the look of the case it is just a tad bit bigger than my TBolt and its so thin the case wont fit up on my tbolt either. lol

Cant wait to fill it but I would highly recommend that case for sure

this is what i was wondering about...if the phone doesn't officially support it...does an already potentially susceptible tech become more susceptible when you have to use a workaround>?

Am I the only one who's actually not expecting anything tonight (but staying up anyways)? They already updated the site today to end the websale, I doubt they'd update it a second time...

bought it thursday afternoon, was in my texas mailbox on saturday. crazy.

coming from an OG i was a little concerned about the size. i'm definitely glad it's not as wide as the razr. swiping the notification bar with your hand at the bottom may require a little shufflin. but overall i'm really happy about the size.
 
Gotta go turn in for the night all, I expect more leaks tonight and possible final confirmation for preorder tomorrow...stay Nexi!

This is why I love my job. I just told my boss - "hey, you know that phone I've been waiting for? It's supposed to be out Friday. So I'll probably be into work late that morning" :)
