From the look of the case it is just a tad bit bigger than my TBolt and its so thin the case wont fit up on my tbolt either. lol

Cant wait to fill it but I would highly recommend that case for sure

I got the black one because the grey one was semi transparent and I wanted to hide the vzw logo lol

I wish that was the case.. haha

I need to go into work that day just dont want to deal with a stock issue/sell out. Plus if I go at lunch there is no way they will get me in and out the door in 45 mins.

Thats why I was going with the tire thing because it frees me up in the morning and I can still pull a half day. If I pull the sick card there is no way. I might just use the dentist appt issue. My team leader is cool so I dont think she will ask for documentation or anything stupid like that
 
Why is everyone so bent on the verizon logo on the device? The apps I can see, but a logo? My Xoom is a google device and I just now realy took notice of the verizon logo on the bottom corner of it.

Yeah I don't get it either.
I honestly don't even get why people are obsessed with TWO MEASLY apps (that are actually somewhat useful) being pre-installed (and which can essentially be uninstalled)... some people baffle me. That's about as vanilla as you can get when you're locked onto a carrier.
 
in that best buy the text in the lower corner on the sheet of paper says "information represent may" and that is as much as you can make out

if the rumor is true that the apps didn't mesh well with the phone and set the release back i can understand it...also, they couldve been offered on the market...i didn't have either on the og droid

I use the apps and don't mind but its an update issue for me, if they stall them then I dont want them on there.
 
I really hope they make an official announcement tomorrow. I already scheduled Thursday off but if the launch is Friday I would rather be at work on Thursday. The day would just drag waiting.

FWIW...just to feed the 12/8 or 12/9 rumor mill a bit more...I stopped by my local Verizon retailer inquiring about the GNex and after it was looked up on the computer it stated a launch day of black friday...haha...we all laughed a bit as we know that didn't happen...they 3 reps all stated they've already taken the online training but haven't heard anything else...i asked them to call me if they get any in stock and they decided to call their "stock Lady" ...the one thing i found interesting is I only told them i heard rumors it might be out this week with no specific date given...but during the phone conversation he paused and told me "it should be here on the 8th or 9th"...I gave them all a coupon for the restaurant i work at for being so friendly and helpful...crosses fingers and hope they're right!!! :D

fyi...i would've posted this earlier but I just got home from a busy night at work at the restaurant
