I didn't order mine. I have $50 from the Executive's Office and I have my last NE2 $50 to spend. She wouldn't let me use either of those at this time because it's not "officially" out yet, but if I wait until Thursday, I can use both. It didn't make sense to lose $100 for a couple of days.

Mine did. I get a company discount, and the price showed as $250 online, and the corporate store could see this. Make sure they double check any discounts for you. It looked to me like he had to bring up the account to actually see it.

As much as I hate seeing the Bears season go down the drain, Forte should take his sweet time coming back. The Bears didn't want to pay him, so why should he risk his health to help them? Frakking penny pinchers.

Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase apps from the android market prior to having an android device? I want to cash in on some of the 10 cent apps today but I'm not an android convert until Friday.

(Why am I having such a hard time getting people to take my money during this whole event???)

got a text from my buddy who is a VZW corporate store manager today. i asked if there was any truth to the soft launch and he replied with "it's true". he then set me up with an appointment to pick up my GNex on Thursday morning at 11AM (since that's my lunch break) to make certain that I get my hands on one launch day.

i have no reason to doubt him after everything he's helped me out with in the past in regards to phone launches. i guess i'll know at 11AM on Thursday! :D

I emailed Amazon with this question about their android store and they told me no. I missed several 50% off deals. Does anyone know about the android marketplace?

Same here. So after all this tight-lipped nonsense, etc now it's possible some stores will have stock and others won't!? I really hope that's not true. I just can't understand why we're (supposedly) 3 days away and the stores in my area haven't a clue what's going on. :(
