Keep in mind that some Authorized Retailers (non-corporate) stores LOOK JUST LIKE corporate stores...but they say "Authorized Retailer" under the name on the door, and the phones are dummy phones. There's one near me...it's not a "Joe's Wireless" or anything...it's just Verizon, and it looks just like a corporate store, but it's not.

I forgot about the free ones. I'm used to using titanium. Go sign up for app brain and make a list there. I haven't done it in forever but if I remember correctly you can download from there as well.
 
Yea no need to worry here BB, our store on 17 is a full blown corporate store. If you've ever gone there on a Saturday afternoon there is no room to even walk lol..

I might try the store closest to my house, but there is no way I could get there until friday afternoon. I just hope the store I called today is giving everyone the same info. I will just call again tomorrow.
 
Been a memberr for a little wile...lol just called corporate store in Greenville SC about exchanging my razr for the Nexus she said it will be available on the 9th she would call me Thursdayto confirm. Just a heads up for my south cacalac friends.

Excellent advice already given, and many like MyBackup Pro for a few bucks in the Market for non-root users.

VERY handy backup tool, will pay for itself when needed, imo.

My philosophy - it's a phone and things can just happen to phones.

Make frequent backups and you're never at a loss for critical apps or DATA if a sad phone day is in the cards for you.

Thanks! Done and done!. So I've been added as an account manager and I have the new billing password we just set. Does this have any relation at all to my "My Verizon" account on the website? When I log in to the site I don't appear to have any additional permissions.

Good idea I'm sure the story will change on an hourly basis.

That 1st store I went to today is 1 mile from me. Won't be going there although they probably have them in back as well. The other two are 5 and 9 miles respectively. I'll be giving the 5 mile store my business as he put me on his list (whatever that might mean :P)
 
So my company has had a trip planned to a warm tropical place.

This is on topic, I promise!

So I was not going because I didn't start early enough. Today, someone couldn't go because their documents weren't in order, so now they offer me their spot. I'm leaving tomorrow and coming back on Sunday.

Is is wrong that the first though I had, after "I have to ask my wife" is "Oh crap, that means I won't be in the country for the Gnex release! Do I want to miss it?"

Long story short, yeah, I'm going to miss the launch. Someone please save me one for when I get back on Monday, okay?
