When my parents put me on as an account manager it gave me carte blanche on their account

Why does it feel like the western part of the country is getting the shaft? Then again, maybe not since there was one person in LA that had a store with them, right?

Perhaps we should start collecting the locations (or at least states) of the stores where confirmation of the 8th/9th and/or pickup appointments have been granted?
 
I care just as little about what Verizon store peeps as the next guy, but I just thought I'd chalk one up for 12/9 speculation.

I called a local store and the guy sounded young and competent, but also somewhat surprised. As if I'm the first one he's heard ask about the GN. He gathered himself, his tone perked up, and he said "unofficially this Friday". He probably just gets his information from the same sources we do. :)

Great, thanks! My wife is tired of me using her phone to facetime with my Mom and Dad so they can see their grandkids ;) This will be nice to be able to use my phone with her iFruit.
 
Hey guys

first tim poster..been lurking for several weeks since I accidentally learned about the gnex as I was researching the iphone 4s and Razr. boy did the gnex win me over quick! LOL

In any case just wanted to share some good news, my verizon rep (corporate store) just called me to say the phone will be available on Friday but that I was able to come in and play with it TONIGHT if I wanted. I have class tonight but am going to stop by on my way just so that i can take a look...I can hardly contain myself!

It had been several week since I had stopped in so I was impressed that he even remembered me and was nice enough to call. I was actually considering to pre-order online but given how cool he was, might as well give him the commission. He will be putting one aside for me for Friday.

So not sure why some people are reporting insistently on next week but I ma just happy I get mine this Friday

well, i finally gave in. called 3 verizon corporate stores in my area and 2 retailers... got nothing worth while from none of them :-\ general nashville area

In Brooklyn I called 3 different corporate store and they all told me they have no info. One even said if its not on the website dont expect it this week. This was all today.

I just got another call (from store #2), heart skipped a beat, and ___ said he had one in-store for me to play with if I wanted to drop by. I can't I'm working till 8-9 :(
 
man, I never would have thought that when I happened on this forum almost 2 years ago, that I'd be back pounding the f5 keyfor information for my next phone. And to top it all off, I have fallen in love with Hanette for picking on our friend Han here. Tell her to get an account here so we can all thank her, it'd be the first person to have 1 post and 1000 thanks.

I think I'm going to go into the store Thursday and ask casually. That way I don't look crazy like the rest of you freaks calling in every day. :p

I fully admit I am crazy, i just want to hide it

Hmm. Either it's taking a while to update, or the My Verizon website account I had isn't at all tied to the account manager settings. When we added the account manager there was a text box where we just typed in the additional manager's full name. It appears you could have typed any name in the field - even someone who wasn't already listed as a member of the family plan... I'll probably just call VZW and check with them.

Verizon needs to make a freaking announcement already. Do I need to drive the 6 miles to the Verizon Corp store to pick it up on day one or stop at any of the 3 authorized stores < 2 miles from me. I could call the Corp store here in about an hour and stop at the Wireless Zone and Radioshack on my way home to see if I can't catch them off guard... Or I could just go home and play Skyrim... decisions decisions.
