You wouldn't believed the swarm of customers around that phone the level of interest of Verizon employees in selling it to me. How much interest? Zero. I was the only person during a typically busy time of the work day (lunch) and I was able to molest that credit card feeling phone at my own leisure. I can't believe that there will be too many stores selling out of this phone very often, unless stock is incredibly restricted, which I just have a hunch won't be the case.

Outside of the reps themselves, I was 1 of 3 people who have asked about this phone. Apple rules all as far as launches are concerned, and as a student who has a final 10:30 on Friday morning, I'm perfectly okay with that.
 
Trying to convince wife (who has Friday off) to go to VZW store and pick one up for me, assuming they would let her? Not sure I've persuaded her yet ...

Alright, I will also take this invitation to join in. I have been lurking since about 35k posts. I have enjoyed all the on (and off) topic discussions. Even though I have been lurking I feel like I have gotten to know all of you. I am ready to put my OG Droid to rest and start playing with my GNex soon!

Haven't visited the TOR forums since Noon. I'm resigned to the fact that I will know nothing about where my Early Access is until later in the week. Hopefully I will have good news on both fronts (Well, I know I will get my Nexus on Friday, but am still unsure as to when my Early Access will start). :)

I planned on it, however I won't be telling the rep that. Instead I will be trying my best to get him to not touch my phone. :cool:

Ugh.....none of this will be an issue if VZW just put preorders on the site. I prefer to not go to their stores for anything, ever.

Called local corp. Store in Olympia,WA... Started by asking if i could make an appointment for friday morning to get a new phone.
VW- which one...
Me- you know the one we can't talk about
VW- the Galaxy Nexus...yeah we can talk about it now.

I'll be picking it up Fri @ 0900

Possibly, but I doubt it. Seems like VZW has no incentive to push this phone. I would expect to see Rezound/Razor commercials.
 
For the record, a manager at one of the local Houston stores on the west side of town just told me that Equipment Guide now says "Coming Soon" instead of December 9, as a previous poster said. Hope that doesn't mean anything bad.
