Actually it's a 10 day sale and each day 10 new apps get released. Check further up on this page...someone answered the question of today's apps with a link...

Called three different stores in Omaha yesterday as well and only got good info from one of them. Not saying which one but the good thing is its on my way to work in case there is a huge demand for the phone. :D

I'm getting some serious "Small World" feelings going on here, lol. Who would have thought that a simple little phone would bring random people to the same place and realize that have similar ties... :D

Yup. Right across the street. What's better than listening to people screaming on a roller coaster while eating your ice cream. I was in Clifton Park in May and took a special trip up to Martha's the next day.

In the Amherst area...Very inconsistent speeds I have gotten 20 MB down and 5 MB up but I have also got 2 MB down and 1 MB up.

It could also be the XOOM though, it does not switch between 3G/4G all that well.

THIS is exactly why I will have withdrawal from this thread. Not only everything you spoke about, but in my circle of family and friends I am the only one who obsesses over this stuff and I was beginning to feel like I was the weirdo. Like joining a gang, it is great to be around those who understand you, haha. Thanks for everything, folks.

I have Martha's ice cream sandwiches in my freezer as we speak...my daughter had one LAST NIGHT for dessert. Being a teacher in this area, I get a TON of Martha's gift certificates for xmas, birthday...etc from my kiddies, so we stock pile what we can for the long winter. :D
 
Going to give my local store a call in an hour, the one that notified me they had stock yesterday but not sure of the launch date. Hope they say that they're ready to release and they'll be selling tomorrow or Friday... I'll take either answer, but either way I'll still try to charm them into selling me one early, lol

Putting my OG Droid through it's final tasks. Loading up on some 10 cent apps so upon release of the Nexus I'll be able to download them right away and be able to try out the screen, processor, and such!

Clifton Park NY? That's where I grew up & graduated from HS
 
Except for one of the Harry Potter books and the final Star Wars movie, I have never been at a store/movie theater before a major release. That new Samsung Galaxy S II commercial shows all of those people lined up for the iPhone, but do we really expect anything similar to that? After waiting so long for this phone, I don't think I'll be self conscious about waiting for a store to open, but what if there are only three other people in line? ::awkward penguin::
 
I'm not sure if this has been talked about or not but I checked out the "store" locator and it seems as though my store opens at 8AM Friday. I'm in Central Jersey. Looks like I'l have to wake up extra early to get my hands on a gorgeous, not off the presses, powerful Nexus! I suggest everyone use the store locator and find out when your local corp. stores open.

Your question has probably already been answered, but in case it hasn't... I went in and spoke with my rep at my local corporate store yesterday and asked if I could just use my sim from my bionic. According to my rep, the SGN uses a "micro" sim, and the old sims from the thunderbolt and the bionic can't be used on the SGN. I don't know the answer for certain, but that was what I was told.
