Just saw this on twitter.. this guy has frequent interactions with P3 and Pydepiper and this was one of his questions to VZW Support today.. Very interesting tweet.. I wonder if there is more to this???

Why does the US get everything so late? UK got their Nexus November 17th!, and ours might finally come out this Friday. The PSVita, comes out December 17 in Japan, and February 22 2012 in the US. Why keep us waiting?!
 
Does anyone know, maybe from past phone experiences, that if a phone is to release the following day, does it show up for sale on the website that evening after midnight? I stopped by my verizon store today and was talking to one rep who said they didn't get any in yet and it was kind of funny that the rep standing next to her said, yes, we got them in yesterday. He continued on and said that a customer called before they got their shipment in and asked if they received any and the rep told him no. The customer said you should be getting them in today and the rep said an hour later, their shipment of GNex's showed up. The Rep said that these customers know more about new products than they do...it's amazing. Wtg guys!
 
very weird news from Georgia.
Went into a corporate store tonight and been told I can buy the phone tomorrow morning.
If by some miracle they actually try to sell me the phone tomorrow morning is there anything in the system that could stop them ?

Thought it wasn't in equipment guide, therefore they couldn't bill it out.
 
When this thing releases, I'm selling this thread and a movie script to Hollywood. This will be a blockbuster. We have so many amazing things.

By the way - someone should send a professional email to Verizon to show them what happened w/ Steven. That's a touching moment and they should use that Verizon/Google family moment as a commercial.

And we thought we had a torture tour with the DInc! This one sets the bar way higher [or lower].

VZW's behavior on this release is very different to the senior VZW guys who were dripping reliable info into the DInc thread. Seems they have forgotten that its early adopters like the crew here that can really make a huge difference to their sales numbers after the launch. Something about 'Don't pi$$ off the true believers'.

At best, all they get now is 'Love the GNex, but VZW sux'. And richly deserved.

However, if I refuse it I dishonor your expression of love and I discredit the hard work of my staff-mates who really deserve this more than I do. EarlyMon worked harder than I did, and Vampire Lady is the bestest, so I'm going to accept this on behalf of the team. (of course I get to use the phone, though. I'll think of them every call I make. :p) Love you two.

No doubt that other members of the AF team have worked very hard on this thread and I don't think anyone would want to take away from that. Its all I can do to keep up just by skimming the posts. I can't imagine having to actually read every one for content. :eek:
Additionally, the members who have posted here are making this thread more than Incredible. <----see what I did there. :p This was just a little something extra for you just because we love you Steven. Thank you for being the person you are! I hope you enjoy your GNex and soon!
 
I know I'm way behind(just got caught up after reading tons of posts) and I feel deceived! I was told I'd get a warm and fuzzy feeling from The Chief's announcement! Truth is, that's a huge understatement! I guess I did choose the right forum to start posting on, and that has just cemented my stay here. Thanks Steven, you're the man. Keep up the good work!
 
So I just got an email from Amazon stating that the Nexus case I ordered was undeliverable and that I will be getting a refund. I think this is a sign that I won't be getting a Nexus soon. :(

Where in GA? I'm in Augusta, and need a place that'll sell me a Nexus!
