The percentage of people who will buy a smartphone and a tablet at the same time are slim to none. It's normally either/or because it is so cost prohibitive. I would virtually guarantee the XYboard has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the delay, the demographics are just too far apart. Can't deny that that sale does show their desperation to move RAZRs though, that phone just didn't sell as well as Moto/VZW (and even I) thought it would.

The fact that Jcase (who is far more trustworthy, though at times just as sarcastic, as P3 IMO) stated he received an OTA tonight says to me that the GNex just isn't quite as ironed as they would like it to be and I would bet it is LTE related.

If you are the web page and your Thanks button is gone it might be that the web site logged you out, that's usually the case for me when it disappears. Of course that's about the time I've just read a really good post and want to thank it. Whether I go and log back on and go ahead and thank it depends on how good it is and how far I have to scroll to get back to where I can log back in.:o

I don't buy the conspiracy theories either. Verizon wants nothing more than for you to renew your two year contract. They don't care which phone you get.
 
Has anyone else here considered bribing Radioshack or Best Buy employees to sell them a GNex early? I considered offering my local Radioshack manager $50 to give me the GNex tomorrow and claim that he didn't know better! ;)

My phone is so strapped for space I decided to wait to get this one until I can load it onto a GNex. At this rate that might be revision three of the app.:eek:
 
You know what is sad...

I'd buy the dang thing tomorrow and spend $300 even if I couldn't actually turn it on until Monday. That's how bad I want this excursion to be over.

Or better yet - I wish Verizon would just take my money and send me one when the craziness is over. I don't want to check every night to see if it's releasing. I just want the phone the first hour it's out.

The ONLY reason I agree with the RAZR theory is that they do make more money off their contract with Motorola and their DROID line I believe. That part I can buy, but a tablet has nothing to do with it. I'm sticking to the software/LTE theory after having seen Jcase post up.

Go under the reply text box and there are some options. Should see a button called manage attachments. (See EarlyMon's much better expanation below).

Not sure, but some features are disabled for newer members, such as you can't post a link on your first post (helps weed out spammer bots). So if you're still having trouble, let me know.

If it's on the web, please use the tool on your entry looks like a yellow postcard with a mountain in it.

If it's on your PC, please go to the Advanced button and look for the paper clip at the very top.

Image urls need to end in jpg/gif/png - hope that helps! :)
 
So what's the latest consensus from everyone (CSR, VZW store employees, Radioshack, Costco)?

Is December 15th the new date everyone is mentioning now?

Is anyone still saying December 9th?

I'm going to get the GNEX as soon as it comes out, as well as the $99 HP Touchpad during the firesale on the 11th!! So there's your 1% :)
