Does any other phone on verizon use micro sim? Or just the Galaxy Nexus? I need this confirmed, I think I'm on to something.

Going to take the chance and go to Costco tomorrow. Two Costco stores told me they would be available for sale.

So what's the latest consensus from everyone (CSR, VZW store employees, Radioshack, Costco)?

Is December 15th the new date everyone is mentioning now?

Is anyone still saying December 9th?

Sorry if this was answered before, but how do you guys live chat with the CSRs? I've been on Verizon Wireless site for hours but nothing popped up :(

Proceed to do an upgrade "Upgrade my Device", once you're on the next page in the upper right hand corner you'll see a button that says "Chat" and one that says "Call", obviously click on the chat button. If you don't see this, make sure you don't have any ad blockers or flash blockers turned on, disable them and restart your session. Good Luck.

HP's eBay site - the two memory versions are $199 and $249 - the catch is that the units are strictly refurbs.

Sales starts noon EST, Sunday, from what I read earlier today or yesterday.

Thanks. When did you hear noon? Engadget is saying 6pm

Take it for what it's worth.. but I think VZW might be sending out more micro sims for Galaxy Nexus activations... Not sure though, again, take it for what it's worth:D
on the Verizon facebook page, someone posted:
Just got our new Razor's today...One of your order pickers decided to include the wrong size SIM card...:( Now I can't use my new phone... I will be at my local Verizon store early am!!! :)

Engadget is also reporting the prices at 99 & 149

I know where ur going with that but I've thought it out already, it doesn't make sense when u look at the timeframe theyve had to figure it out

This does not make me happy,

The Galaxy Nexus captures 1080p video with mono audio (despite the dual microphone setup).

I wonder why they decided to do mono audio...

I'll go back and check - I was reading the early release long before Engadget reported it. So, either it changed, I am wrong, or Engadget mis-reported - any of which is likely and possible. (Although I'll bet I'm wrong unless/until I post otherwise. ;) )

The Razr uses a micro sim as well. When I bought my Rezound the rep put in a micro sim when it should have been a full sim but I am not having any issues with it.

What I find most interesting about that article is the fact that he is essentially saying there's nothing really special about the Samsung hardware...something I've said for a long time. He essentially says this phone without ICS would have a hard time distinguishing itself.

That's one of the reasons I've said all along that going the route of an existing piece of hardware like the Razr/Rezound coupled with ICS, might actually wind up being the better software/hardware combination.

Do I know this for sure? Of course not, but it's certainly a possibility. Hate Blur, hate Sense? There's always other launchers out there guys.

Just food for thought.
Changing the launcher doesn't get rid of either Blur or Sense. They'll still be there in all their ugly, crappy glory, just less prominent than before. It also won't bring out updates quicker, or make phones carrying either skin less buggy or laggy.

This is going to sound crazy, since it seems no one else around here caught it, but...

About 15 minutes ago I checked vzw.com/galaxynexus as I normally do, not really expecting anything to have changed. Of course by now I'm used to it redirecting to Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0 Smartphone | Verizon Wireless which is the full length URL of the sign-up page. Imagine my surprise when THIS TIME I was redirected to:

http://shop.verizonwireless.com/?id=Samsung Nexus

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Unfortunately, it wouldn't load anything. I even tried another computer to see if it was some sort of fluke. NOPE! vzw.com/galaxynexus redirected to the same shop page, but nothing loaded.

Seems to me like a launch might have been coded into the system to automatically happen tonight. Unfortunately, someone at VZ must have taken notice because the redirect is back to the sign up page. They had me going there for a minute...
