I didn't look at their profiles, but if they are not acting in their official capacity as CSR's then they should take that out of their profiles. I'm sure someone at Verizon would want to know how their off duty employees are representing their company.
 
So, shifting topic for a second:

There was that one guy who said that his rep told him to look out for a huge marketing push the week leading up to the launch. Does this mean we could see something tomorrow (12/12)?

It doesn't seem like it adds much. I can barely see any difference between the door for the original battery and for the extended battery. I expect that the phone with the extended battery will still fit into my TPU case.

I think LurksMoar is right, even out of the workplace, this is clearly an attempt to harass a detractor of their employer. Facebook does not mean you can't be held accountable for your actions. Speaking like that to anybody is despicable.

Absolutely. But without going into nuances and citing court cases the gist of it is the same. Really the only point I was trying to make is that Verizon doesn't have to sign a contract with minor and they probably have a policy in place to avoid sticky situations like this. It sucks for the minors trying to get phone service on their own, but saves verizon litigation time/money in the long term.

How about one Verizon store where I know the employee let me see thier cage today. No stock. ;)

The memo you referenced was Best Buy, not Verizon (unless there was another leaked document). And lie is such a strong, negative word. Corporate has told employees to not comment. These reps should be saying no comment, but alas most haven't been trained in politician/lawyer speak.

I was at the VZ store tonight and the mgr got out the extended battery and put it into the phone. With the back on that comes with the extended battery (which looks JUST like the other back!) I could not even tell. The case I had picked out fits with both the normal battery and the extended battery. I don't know if there are actual differences, but I could not tell with my naked eye and by holding the phone.

For the most part I agree and have thought the same...however i've THOUGHT it was more of a supply issue than strictly distribution although the two somewhat go hand in hand...IMO I think VZW underestimated the demand for the device!

let me clarify this as best i can.... from what i read, in march verizon is not stripping away everyones unlimited plan who was grandfathered in. they are simply going to stop allowing for the grandfathering of unlimited into new contracts(like when you buy a new phone subsidized).

If I add a line to my already unlimited data family plan will the new line be eligible for unlimited data?
