Aren't most Verizon stores open like 9a-9p? So you'd have to be able to take one hour out of those 12 to run over there and grab it. Even if you don't get it until 8:58PM, isn't that better than the next day? =)

Haha - can you tell I've grown so impatient with waiting that i'll find logic in any situation just to get my Nexus as quickly as possible, lol.

So.. I've never been one to root a phone. I just didn't see enough personal benefits to risk bricking and/or messing it up one way or another. Honestly, the biggest reason I never did is because I would have had to lose all the data to my games and other apps if I wanted to root. But when I get my nexus, should I root it? Without the downside of losing data, now I'm intrigued by the process. Anyone have any words of wisdom on the subject?

I want to wait untill tomorrow, the 14th to let other sites/forums/reddit pick up on this. If we could have a huge effort in a lot of cities I think verizon would really pick up the point we are making and if they was a chance at another delay they might say, "well instead of hassling us (Verizon! Y U NO Release The GNEX?!?!) they actually finally were really nice about it in the end. Those nerds are cool after all."
I look at it as possibly preventing another delay at the most and at the least just good fun... that and ICS bars don't cost that much either.
 
20th now? So 15th to 20th then 22nd then 23rd over to the 26th and then on to the 31st.

I'm still Looking at the 15th as the date too.

If it passes though, I think we should not jinx the next date by putting it in the title of the thread :D

Was posted in an article on Phandroid about the extended battery. Author just said he had a CS rep at a store and an online rep say the 20th (clarifying after we all freaked out). I'm still planning on the 15th.
