To sum up what you just said, this is basically all just a mind game that were playing/tricking ourselves into. <--The human mind craves this. The point of the matter is when we recieve the GN, we'll recieve it (and then be on to the next phone in a matter of 2-3 months :) )

You sir are as credible as any other source.

All this hoopla comes from people taking this release way too serious. Folks get information run with it and over analyze it.

Then you take popularity side of it, if Person#1 whom everyone favors quite a bit says something then it darn well may be carved in stone as reality.. Regardless if anything thing else they have said has come to fruition.

If unknown Person#2 says something (especially if it isn't good news), get your fire extinguisher because here come the flames.

So, just as a follow up, if I am listed as the account owner, I definitely should be able to upgrade the phones on both lines on my family plan without the other user being with me?

Possibly. I'm thinking she's simply repeating what she's heard. I never bought the 4G explanation either.

The Bionic was announced the day before. I'd be shocked if this is announced before the morning of release.

1. What was the local manager info? I don't think I saw it.

2. I don't think anyone's been completely flamed here. Maybe a few licks of fire, but nothing major. Believe me, I know. I've been smacked for far less, and I have often had an almost insatiable urge to flame certain people for extremely flame-worthy posts, but have refrained from doing so because I know I'd get banned.

If you want to see real flame wars, go to AC. We're kitty cats compared to that.

That's an older promotion. I heard about that one too, but I gave him the code CH4GE and he found the updated one and added the note to my account.

just seems like since there already is a precedent for 4g phone releases that dont fall on thursday, it wouldnt be crazy to see the nexus release on, for example, tuesday 12/20
 
First post. Hi everybody.

I have been following here for a few weeks. Great thread.
I have been looking at the Rezound, the 4s and thinking about the gnex also.

One test I did while looking at these phones was to just take a few pictures randomly and see how good I can get the pictures to look.
In my tests I thought the rezound and the 4s were the best I had seen. The rezound possibly coming out on top.

So my obvious concern is the gnex
 
A conversation i had with a guy a best buy yesterday was pretty good, he said he has had more people asking about the Nexus than the iphone and that this is the first phone he's ever had that happen with. he said the ratio was about 3 to 1...then again, mabye this isn't good unless they have a pile of stock which they should have by now. either way i will be waiting at my corp store at 8:00 with starbucks in hand (conveniently next store) on Thursday.
