What is baseband?
I know that cell phone network depends on it but want a technical answer.
Can we make a new baseband when we get kernel source?

is it ? but there is no 3g network coverage for tata docomo in Mumbai - dadar at least ? does it really work ?
some time b4 when my balance went low and i switched on my phone i did get 1gb free download and a message for "thanks for using docomo 3g" but that time i not find any 3g turning on on my device !! it was like 6 mts b4 !
 
baseband is the one which determines the signal power when micromaxx releases androi2.3 then we can get new baseband
but new baseband=better signal=more battery drain

but from where will we get the base band / radio rom of a70???

I am under the impression that a70 has one of the best signal reception among phones (all phones) can we better it.
 
the firmware or stock rom of each device is in certain format like lg p500 will be in .kdz format with tools we can extract the kdz file which will have 6files out of this 3files will be related to baseband and lg has given us a tool to flash this it takes 1min...
we flash recovery through this only ..dont even have to reboot after flash...

and signal reception ours is good in new baseband in old i never got 3g signal inside home now with new 3g is like 2g ...

Gtalk app is not preinstalled, I also searched the market for the same but in vain.

Samsung is preloaded with Gtalk.

can anyone guide me where I'll get the apk for gtalk.

you have rom manager right then
in download opyions select GAAPS OR GAPPS download it and place it in root of sd card...
now reboot recovery and flash it and you will have gtalk with video calling support

Automatic time was selected earlier also. I tried re enabling.

Still not working.

Cleared data of market. No avail. It's all the same
 
@adiyadeva for market try to do this
When it gives u error then hit that retry button 4-5 times. If this doesn't work then do the below
fully uninstall the market using titanium or anything u like and restart the phone and install the new market manually and then try.

I flashed h3 today morning. I tried to mod the cm6.1 of spice 300. :(

Market is not working from yesterday itself.

Will try varun's method. Uninstall reboot & reinstall.

I had installed 3.3.0.12 over 3.3.0.11 without uninstall or reboot when all failed to work.
 
uninstalled the updates to market and it solved both clock and market issue.

now living on older version of market
 
I am on hybrid 3 and I am facing a weird problem.
Whenever I charge my battery it doesn't go over 98%. Yesterday night I was charging my mobile, at 8pm it became 98% and when I checked back at 9:12pm it was still 98% charging. I tried wiping battery stats in recovery still no luck. It gets stuck at 98%.
Anyone has any solution?
