yeah, but whats odd is mine didn't say 310000 in the pull down bar it said "Searching" hows that?

The only explanation I can think of is many its the tower its connected to number or many just the way I installed mine(I was on miui thendid a nandroid back up and formatted system and data the installed the new rom) but tomorrow's a new day ill work with it sommore after work till then back to miui

Yea there is no screen flicker while in Portrait! Also I like the widget style that it has and how you can put it on the widget thing that pops up when placing the widget and you can go to a different screen and select it from there and place it... Something weird is I notice my 3g and 1x bars change... But still no data. :/
But overall i think this would be my daily driver if data was fixed and the keylayout...

Also it seems like I can't send messages over a certain limit... There not long enough to be converted to mms though... Hmmm... Anyone else notice this?
Also mobstergunz do you know what files in the keylayout folder need to be edited? Or could I just edit them all and call it good?

its probably cause mms sends over as data if 3g was working im sure mms would too
i tried it worked on other phones i guess its tied to the kernel
hey, ziggy when you tried the cm7 and miui kerenels was the keylayout correct?

Its less than 160 chars tho... And doesn't convert to a mms.
Also I edited fluid-keypad.kl and msm_tma300_ts.kl in the keylayout and will test to see if it works in a bit

Maybe we can grab the updated binary blobs & use it in our ROMs. I'll look into this when I have some time.

Whyzor, he said 2.6.35 was unstable right now, and he was going to fix and release it in RC3 after he finishes MIUI and CM7. I was going to update SpeedDemon to 2.6.35 because there's something specific afterwards I wanted to add. We might be waiting for a while till he's done with those other ROMs.

I doubt he can work out all the bugs in the kernel for our phone without having a CDMA phone (but would like to be wrong). I meant we could grab the proprietary binary files from the ROM. The stuff that we don't even have source for when building our ROMs. If you're familiar with building CM, it's the files extract-files.sh script grabs from our stock Froyo ROM.

Yup, and since someone mentioned earlier everything pretty much works and better than CM7 (except radio), I hope it's as easy as it sounds
(May not even need to install the ROM, just manually pick out the files that extract-files.sh's first half tries to grab.)

Re reading ticker guys earlier posts I dont think we can get data working on this rom because its built for a sim phone.
He said you would have to get the source code and then use the work around applied in cm7 then recompile. You would almost have better luck trying to build a aosp ginger bread build

But why does the radio even partially work? Calls and sms are made using the radio right? So how come calls and texts can be made using the radio with no ruid card?
edit: also it is recognized by qpst and can connect and read form the phone... So is there a way we could do something with qpst to get the data working?
