So I talked to a guy at Verizon today...

i have a friend who was in the running for worlds tallest midget....

"2.1 is here! What do you have to complain about it? Wasn't What you thought? Oh, well go F$@# yourself cause you complained 3 months for it" coming soon . . .
 
I askd that google thing on the internet and it said that someone on a forum said 2.1 would be out this week...

I was all like "Hey, that's a cool phone" and he was all like "yeah, it is, thanks" and I was all like "where'd you get it" andf he was all like "From Verizon" and I was all like "Can I see it" and he was all like "We're in a Verizon store, they have display models" and I was all like "yeah, but other people touch those and get them all germy" and he was all like "Well, 2.1 is upposed to come out soon, and rumor has it that it has a built in disinfectant" and I was all like "Wow, that's wicked cool! Is it on yours yet" and he was all like "2.1 won't come out til next week" and I was all like "But I read from this guy online that it's already on some peoples' phones" and he was all like

I have no idea what caused the above. It just fell out of my warped brain

Ummm yeah. I would suggest knowing about something before you speak. The whole premium member status thing has to do with a donation to the forum and nothing to do with post counts. Why anyone measures post counts in the first place I have no idea. Seriously though, who are you to determine what is a worthless post? As for guys pretending to be girls, well that is just kind of sad really. Not sure why anyone would want to be anything or anyone other than who they are.
 
I'm still of the mind that the whole update thing with Eris, and maybe with other devices as well, heck, Blackberries, whatever, is your basic "tmi."

My perfect scenario is:

- we buy a phone we like

- they occasionally address issues with updates

That's it.

Leaked info from employees or testers or whomever is the same as announced info ahead of the delivery date: worthless beyond pot-stirring.

My brother in law's sister's aunt went to the verizon store today. She asked about the 2.1 update. They told her it was only available on phones with the WinMO OS.

lol what? That doesn't even make sense. Especially in the context of this forum.
 
Sorry for getting off topic. I guess there's nothing much else to say at this point other than have some fun while we sit and wait for the 2.1 update!

And no, she didn't need to update, she got an N1
 
Phases already asked once this evening, and it still wanders off topic.

There is a stickied thread at the top of the forum here, please discuss all future potential 2.1 news there.
