If i get some more people to test it out and confirm that it's ok, ill do the sprint version too and ask interdpth to update his OP to include the new zip files and instructions.

Do you already have the rom on your phone?
I went into CWM and flashed it. Everything looked good but when I rebooted I didnt see any changes

Install went flawless. Im an Android noob but not so with a pc and i was amazed. The quality work is obvious. They few things I had to replace would be petty to mention considering what i just got free.
Feels smooth even though i haven't done a factory wipe.
I like the keyboard a lot more than stock.
The only issue I'm having is with the Radio settings in Star Settings. I set it to EVDO only and it switched to unknown and now keeps reverting to that. No glitch or crash but it killed my 3g, signal bar at top shows 3g but is gray and only 4 bars when I usually have full green bars here at home. Any help would be awesome.
Any chance of Star Settings for a rooted phone with the stock rom?

i went to recovery and did wipe data factory reset and then dalvik cache and then system then i flashed the rom and it went to where it says samsung transform ultra and gets stuck there like theres no rom at all. basically you have to have the stock rom installed for the starscrom zip to uupdate youre phone. if you intalled it with the original way you wont see any difference.Correct.

all the ssystem files are there. it should be a full ROM package...
so you formatted your system partition?
Restore your backup and reboot
then try it again without wiping system and see what you get

to confirm.. do you have Star Settings?
if you use a root file explorer, it's in /data/app/starsettings.apk

I had the same problem I just used an installer and installed the package.

ok guys, hold back on this till i can work on the zip and see why it's not working for you. Must be something wrong with it. It should have installed an entire rom but i have a feeling it's not. But i will get it working.
I forgot to mention something when I flashed the rom it didn't change the mrree theme I had flashed before which is weird because when you flash a rom its supposed to clear everything but the theme was still installed almost as if it just flashed right over the old rom.

Dont sweat it. I know whats wrong.. The script is missing. Ill fix it once i figure out how to write it
Isn't it missing the build.prop
Edit: nevermind I figured it out just don't know how to fix it. Its a little over my head.

in order to make a CWM.zip there is a folder named META.INF. inside there are scripts that tell CWM how/where to write files and such.
if its a ROM you are flashing, those scripts have to be manually added for the rom to install as intended.
I'm trying to learn how to write those. not a whole lot of info on it...

I may be totally wrong but I don't believe you need those scripts because we are not flashing via CWM the updater-script and updater-binary are used for flashing a zip only through clockworkmod as far as I know. Manually pushing through adb shouldn't require those.

a few people mentioned having a problem with the network settings in star settings/ radio info switching back to unknown. I figured out what I was doing that was causing it.
When you change it to EvDo you can not use the back key to go back to the previous menu, you have to use the home button and exit the app.

evidentlly, there is a whole LOT of learning when creating updater scripts for cwm!! I'm on it though... I wont give up as I need to learn this if I wanna make my own ROMs. Flashable is the way to go these days. A LOT of reading and the info is spread out all over so it's gonna take a min... I almost have a script created to start testing. (on my TU not yours)

look into the data and app folder and move the starsettingapk to app folder
